    You don't mind getting roughed up a little and sitting in jail for an
    evening on trumped up charges and then paying for a lawyer to
    eventually dismiss your charges for which you file a complaint that
    is ultimately ignored.

    "e.g." is latin for "for example"
    So, I misused the term. I meant to use "e.g."

    What i am trying to say is that
    religious beliefs do not supersede the law
    and could not be used as a defense in
    a trial.

    "i.e." Roughly means "for example"

    When i said "My mom ...." it was an example of
    someone using a non-legal argument for not having to
    go to school. I am not saying my mom, personally,
    has forbidden me to go to school.

    Religious rights end when they violate the law.

    An algorithm that could factor a 4096 bit number even 10%
    of the time would be enough to consider 4096 key as completely unsafe
    for cryptography.

    It is easy enough to verify the result.

    If they are to compete with kindle they will have to sacrifice much
    of the ipad experience unless they have some slam dunk
    power consumption strategies/hardware that allow for a much lighter battery.

    Back when we had all sorts of different screws and nuts and bolts with no standardization,
    there was always some reason why one particular brand was superior in one way.

    But if they never standardized, we would likely now be paying $5/screw
    instead of 5 cents/screw.
