It _was_ Firefox. However, US open sponsor for live streaming, Microsoft, didn't want to admit that. Who the hell watches GOLF when you could have watched females with skirts in Tennis instead?
These days they invite you to listen the record at their place because they are afraid that you distribute your copy of promo-CD over the internet, even if its already "leaked" to internet or they are afraid that it will leak before release from you.
True that.. if their top 5 error reports while installing SP3 for XP includes out of diskspace error and instructions how to fix it, i really can't say the article being usefull. Everyone who can read knows what is the problem.
In fact 99% of applications shouldn't need an installer for OS X. Just a drag to the/Applications folder. Installers are messy, if you need one your app is already designed wrong. I've always wondered.. why most software require install if it's not needed? I remember old Firefox version, Phoenix 0.2 which was just to be unpacked and ready to run. Now even Firefox wants to install itself. Why couldn't it just run straight from directory without installing - in Windows like before?
How about that, hired _before_ the trial which will decide if the material at hand which the police found out was enough for convictions. I would have hired _after_ the trial. MPAA is again underestimating the internet - stuff like this you can't just put a locker and keep it hidden.
I'm guessing this has more to do with the fact that when there's nothing on TV to watch, people are more likely to download a film. Or Maybe they downloaded those TV-shows instead from TV? They air mainly on US only so rest of the world gets to wait from 6 months to 2 years usually until they see the same episodes, unless, of course they use bittorrent.
Assuming that they have 10 Million players, i would have to assume that they have capasity so that everyone of them can play the game at the same time. So in this case, what does it matter if it is a bot or a human playing the game?
Looks like they just sell crap like most webhosting companies. 100 customers sharing 1 server and its resources but if all sites on the machine would have instant peak of users, it all will fail miserably.
So Apple didn't want to miss market and made a bloated iTunes for Windows. Only moving it around on the desktop will eat 20-50% of CPU on Windows XP depending on when the machine has been booted last time + it jams time to time upon usage. Switch to Mac and you get better version?
We are inside a cardboard box. While the walls and floor are GPL-licenced, the top ceiling is too, with a glitch. Instead of expensive glueing system to close the box, we use ducktape. Of course when we open the box, ductape ruins some of the coating outside but it works the same way as the glue which does not break coating.
Linus is trying to keep GPL pure and perhaps this wrapper in the future could break some apps and usability. This is why he prefers emulation.
Oh yes, and don't we all want more sequels after a sequel to a sequel which used to be an original game 10 years ago. Also someday people get bored to those NHL, FIFA, NFL and other sequel series.
What it comes to situation with EA now, it needs something new since it can only create sequels. If it where to get Take Two, it would get the release of GTA 4, Mafia 2 and other upcoming and important releases. EA has no hitgames on it's garages atm but Take Two has plenty and the firm itself is in good condition. These 2 games alone will sell good, there is no question about that.
How it is good thing? If user pays from "insert speed here" he should get that speed full time and not just for first few seconds or 10MB. Client should get what he or she pays for. On the other hand, there is propably that fine print somewhere, like "max speed is 24/1 Mbit/s but works atleast with 1024/256Kbit/s".
10 years ago only few people really thought about getting online. Now everyone wants to go there and do the things that others do. Use messenger, IRC or . Right now we are used to non-56k modems and to the fact that internet is paid monthly with steady old same price which does not change no matter what you do online - and especially does not have pay-by-usage as 56k did, just not in bandwidth terms, but money. If you are telling me to go back for usage limits for my internet, i feel like we are going backwards in time.
For example, i have now about 440 times faster internet than 10 years ago. What it costs me in money, is actually _less_ than 10 years ago so you got a point there but i use it only something about 7-10 times more bandwidth wise than before, by average. It's good if you need to pick up a file somewhere, like 100MB photo.zip from a friend. It's down to your pc with no time. If i would use a good video rental service through internet (if only one shoud exist), i woulds get a movie, lets say 1 GB too pretty fast but there goes 1/20th of the bandwidth limit. I might think if i would get something more usefull or use bandwidth to something instead of that. I really had to get Linux iso recently for my home server. That would have cost me 0,7 Gigs which was already almost 2/20th of the cap. Thinking like this makes me feel old, stupid and fat. This is what Linus would say. I shouldn't need to think this at all.
This leads me to the point where i wanted to go since starting to type this comment. Services. Everyone wants their piece of the internet and it's users. ISP of course is your first link online. When they start throttling connections and setting limits, this affects everyone who offers services online, which may hog some bandwidth. Solution according to you is to put some more price for the internet. Pay for play as they say. Am i in stone age? You get a pretty much free internet already here with 20 euros a month, no limits of usage, nothing except speed is like 256Kbit/s (soon to be 512Kbit/s). Perhaps few ports blocked like 25 incoming but hey, almost every ISP blocks that. You can download 77 Gigs with this 'slow' speed if used 24/7. This goes beyond the Time warner caps already for the faster connections. For higher speeds, the cap should be something like 200 gigs minimum, just to make sure everyone is happy, except those pirater. ARRRR.
"The cells turned into a variety of tissues and even produced blood vessels, the researchers said."
It's called cancer. Who knows what will happen to this patient in the future. There just isn't enough research about this matter yet.
We shall have netsplits in the future. Everyone who has used IRC is familiar with these. One of the A,B,C,etc*root server splits from another and soon DNS stops working. Oh noes what are we gonna do then? IRC.

Developers, Developers, Developers, Developers! *Chairs flying in the air at Redmond*

But on the other hand, Hellboy sucked and yet it gets a sequel.

Microsoft must be real desperate for getting Yahoo to theirselves. Funny thing is that there is no one to stop them if the stockholders will sell.
Spank the monkey!
You have Doom 3? You oughta have good hearing so you can replace the lack of visibility with your ears...
No, stay away from Creative, AND VISTA.

Or the spambots creaping around the net searching for e-mail addresses after link to another, including ad banners.
Take a wild guess... It's G-man with W in his suit and big Bush on the balls.

Atleast the fines are _reasonable_ in northern europe compared to the infamous american RIAA mafia demands.
Damn, i thought everyone knew the hotkey thing :(
Was in really a suicide?
