    Terrorist actions could win the fight in theory, but in reality it's much harder to fight as a terrorist because the collateral damage turns the population against you. I just don't see any way an armed revolt could work given the realities of today's military.

    Thats what the US thought when they invaded Iraq, and now were are they?

    because all of us have the time and money to install windows xp just to pass through the border of 2 friendly countries and not to mention I don't think its ilegal in the US or Canada to have an os besides windows on our own personal laptops

    Most people complain if it doesn't act exactly like the proprietary counter part, eg. The GIMP. I bet most the "usability" problems of free software is that it doesn't look and act exactly like the closed-source counter part

    I think that would only apply to one or two man projects at best. eg. the firefox dev team won't just stop improving firefox, or the linux kernel devs won't just stop writing the linux kernel

    whats so bad about this exactly?, people that do this stuff are breaking rules. I mean, catching people who failed emission tests is good for the environment and catching people without insurance is also a good thing. Its like where I live, people were mad when the cops had radar on the highway, and the people were saying its just a revenue generator, when speeding can kill people, and catching speeders stops people from getting killed. So can someone explain why this is so bad?
