  1. Freaking Awesome! on Google To Monitor Surfing Habits For Ad-Serving · · Score: 1

Everywhere I go, I am getting pitched Orange Juice by Lesbians - hot damn! http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=5947258203209581672 Google clearly knows what I want.

  2. Great News for UK... on YouTube To Block Music Videos In the UK · · Score: 1

Tagoo.ru now serves up videos as well as music! Nothing to install or seed, just download and Bobs yer uncle! Cheerios!

  3. Little known fact... on Wolfram Promises Computing That Answers Questions · · Score: 1

  4. Re:Ah the naivety of a mass media informed pundit. on US Forgets How To Make Trident Missiles · · Score: 1

Russia reached out to Ossetia for several reasons, not the least of which is the fact that the vast majority of Ossetia is actually a part of Russia already (called Northern Ossetia) and Russia has been trying to make good with its Caucaus regions like Ossetiya, Dagestan, Chechnya, Ingushetia. Georgians going balls out, pulling GRAD systems to the outskirts of Tskhinvali and raining hell on civilians, gave Russia an opportunity to look like heroes to the local populace, and to swing their military dick to remind the world that the bear is not dead yet. As far as getting involved in someone elses civil wars its the foundation of our military economy :)

  5. Ah the naivety of a mass media informed pundit... on US Forgets How To Make Trident Missiles · · Score: 2

Tell that to Georgia (the european country).

Couple of points, if you ever actually visited Georgia, you would have a hard time calling it a "Euopean country" with a straight face. It is a typical Southern Caucaus mountain territory, and the only wiff of Europe is what has been bought with bribe money from US and EU... As far as the Georgias "problems" they are self inflicted, THEY attacked Ossetia and tried to commit genocide and were thwarted. If you dig into the history of Georgias modern borders as they are today you will see that it is a country created by its native son, Stalin. Its borders were created through forced relocation of the native population of Ossetia, Abkhazia, etc.

  12. I would have a monicum of sympathy for Nintendo if on Nintendo Asks For Government Help To Fight Piracy · · Score: 1

If their friggin DS Lites werent so poorly built - between myself and my kids and wife we own 4 of these damn things, three of them have busted hinges - and the screen on one has become wonky over the months we own it. Nintendo charges like 70 bucks to get them "fixed" by replacing them with refurbed units. I view the product like Cyclo DS Evolution as a form of compensation for my headaches. Also it does a bunch of other things that the DS Lite is capable of but Nintendo doesnt implement. Sorry but sympathy is just a word in the dictionary between shit and syphilis.

  15. Having heard the album... on Last.fm Shoots Down Rumors Over U2 Album Leak · · Score: 1

I think their bigger problem is not its distribution. For this album, U2 should be trying to get this crap out for free and PAY piratebay and tagoo.ru to host this rubbish and include their crappy CDs with EVERY MCDONALDS HAPPY MEAL! This is, hands down, the worst U2 album ever! It is absolutely uninspiring and pitiful - you can definitely tell that this is just an attempt to make money - they are not even trying, there isnt a shred of their prior talent in it. This album to music is what Velveeta cheese is to cheeses - it is pasteurized and devoid of flavor and texture. U2 is DEAD.

Yeah baby - I am gonna install the latest games, MS Office 2007, Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop CS4 on my phat Ubuntu box.... NOT! Sorry, but I like USING my computer, not dicking with it, and even when I decide to I dick with it, I rather use Backtrack3 off an 8gb usb microsd not UBUNTU. Ubuntu is cumbersome and buggy to use and still doesn't run real world applications. Yay its free, so are herpes - get some.

  18. FTARD ALERT - HE ISNT CLONING! on Hackers Clone Passports In Driveby RFID Heist · · Score: 2, Insightful

He is just skimming IDs, not cloning or even collecting any information of worth. Its no different than some retard driving around with a wifi scanner collecting SSIDs and MACs for a bunch of WPA2 networks - its not the same as getting into the systems behind them. I guess I am new here, but I expect this kind of cheap overblown title from trash like Wired, not from /.

  19. Reading Passport RFID Cloning Passport RFID... on WarCloning, the New WarDriving? · · Score: 1

Couple of points - just because you can see a tag of the Passports RFID, doesn't mean you can do anything meaningful with that data. Having just traveled from US to London to Amsterdam and back, I got to say - good luck trying to walk through the check points with bogus data. Any nerd who thinks he can make a fake passport just because he can scan RFID is going to have his 30 year old cherry popped in real jail.

  22. The only real "Green" at CES is MONEY... on Green Is In At CES, But Is It Real? · · Score: 1

The rest is fluff. Take it from a guy who been going to the trade shows since the 80s, the only thing the vast majority of the manufacturers care about is the bottom line, more so in these tough economic times. "Green" is a fashionable label that helps push a tiny bit more product, and as long as the buzz lives on the Marketing Guys will keep pimping it.

  23. I stopped buying newspapers - hope they die. on Are Newspapers Doomed? · · Score: 1

I stopped buying newspapers when I realized they are just an extension of the entrenched political system duping the masses. They are ideologically corrupt propagandist tools of the highest bidder. I do not think they deserve a penny of my money, and in these tough economic times it became evident that if you vote with your wallet you can actually have real impact - more than ever before. So as it stands I am enjoying watching them die.
