Is the mac version native to mac, or is it just one of those releases with wine packaged with it? I ask because I remember a game that was going to be released for mac that was just windows version with wine, but I can't remember what game that was.
I think it's just not a very good recognition engine or it's only made for the American accent. It can't figure out my New Zealand accent either. I keep wanting it to tell me a joke, but I can only sometimes get it to understand "Who's there?".
When I was going for my full drivers licence, I was told before we started the test that I was allowed to go over 50km/h (the speed limit) if the rest of the traffic was going faster, as I could be marked down for slowing down traffic otherwise. So I passed the test even though I was legally speeding (55-57km/h):-D
What someone should do is get mobile phones with cameras and bluetooth and when they're in a group surrounding some event, they make a 3d model that can be later downloaded onto the computer, so the viewer can change angle whenever they want. Much more interesting than surveillance!
I've got old fat "Redhat Linux Unleashed" and "Using Linux" books and most of the stuff in them are still fairly relevant, as most of it is about using the console, not the GUI. I still use them occasionally too, as some of the stuff in there is hard to find on the web.
I bought a Dell 3 years ago. When I asked whether installing Linux would void my warranty, they said "No, it's your computer, you can do what you want with the software"
Wow, that example on microsoft.com/silverlight (after silverlight has been installed) is REALLY badly made and doesn't work as you'd expect it to! The video had to be in exactly the right place in the circle before it would open a video window when I clicked it.
Are you saying that there really is the "jocks" and "nerds" thing in American schools? I don't live in the U.S. and always thought that it was just something that American TV programmes made up, because it seemed so silly!
When I go through anything where I *could* be falsely accused, I look and feel really nervous. I wouldn't trust myself to stay calm going through US customs:-P
The first computer I used, when I was about 3-4, was an Apple ][e, and I still have it, although the keyboard no longer works.
I remember every time I set one up (we had a few), I managed to hurt my hand while opening the base. The Apple ][e sparked my interest in computers, and I thank Apple for making a computer that a 3 year old could use:)

I've always wanted to do that sort of thing (less the RFID tag)! Unfortunately I lack the money :(

Where I am, MySpace isn't even that big, almost everyone I know has a Bebo account

After reading other people's posts, maybe not.
If you look at the Medison site there is a physical address on the contact page, so that makes them look slightly more legit :)

Speaking as someone who's not American, I think the car looks super cool and I want one... except I'm a student so I have no money :(
Crazy! I watched that very episode just a few hours ago! I liked it :)
I didn't have to wait. Wiis are in stock in most places around where I live (I live in New Zealand) so I just walked in and asked for one :-D
Ah, I see why I thought it was ][. The startup screen uses them, not // :)
