I have a personal database of spam callers and when such a number calls, I just pretend the phone rings but it doesn't. After a while, they are sent to a spammer voicemail box that sounds just like my real one. I review this voicemail box once in a while just in case since I also send anonymous caller there.
I have a special number that I only give to people I know that have anonymous showing up as their callerID. They need to enter a special code on top of this to join me.
I don't answer when I don't recognize the callerID and often add the number to the blacklist if relevant after they leave a voicemail or I search in Internet databases for well known spammers.
Pretty easy to do when you run your own VOIP switch. I wonder why phone companies don't offer the same functionality to their customers.
I don't give my cell phone number to anybody. The VOIP switch just makes the cell phone ring when it deems it is a valid call.
I have been trying 57 for a day. To be fair, it seems pretty decent so let's give those poor Mozilla devs a break!
It only choked on the pdf from this article where cpu went nuts until I was done reading and closed the tab. Then, everything went back to normal. Still, it made it look bad. https://tech.slashdot.org/stor...
I had to learn to use uBlock and uMatrix to replace noscript and I am not sure I will go back to noscript now once they release a coming soon compatible version.
My other addons kept working or had a replacement version already available. ghostery, adblockplus, decentraleyes...
It is like IE around 2000. It does stuff behind your back. So, we can see it but you can't unless you look at it from a perspective outside the walled garden.
You are right and I have a much better idea; Just send me a duplicate of your key and your alarm system code and I will make the delivery for you for free. No camera needed!
It seems like a good idea not to upgrade/fix planes if they are going to be replaced, as long as the planes that need repairs can be fixed on short notice if needed and that a minimum number of planes are always kept available.
The solution is actually much simpler: make a "CrowBar" where the crows can go have a dump and get food in exchange.
A friend of mine trained his parrot to shit in ashtrays so crows should be able to learn that, maybe other birds too.
To refine the system, add bird facial recognition across stations and keep track of the intake versus the outtake and refuse to dispense food if the bird is not "clean".
I run a bare win 8.1 on my 4 GB RAM 300$ dell laptop, I am really serious here! I declined the win10 free update.
Now, bare means updated, no apps installed, no nothing except virtual box. Then, I run linux in a virtual box guest and performance is acceptable.
Why did I choose this strategy or is there any strategy in there?
There isn't any strategy here, just laziness or cost effectiveness (could it be the same?). I didn't have time to play around with "signed boot protected sectors" or whatever it is called in the 300$ laptop BIOS settings that I didn't go into yet although I have done it before on other hardware.
Don't install anything on windows and you will avoid the registry cluster fuck (systemd anybody?). A bare windows install behaves better than expected if you follow that rule. Maybe they should re-market as microsoft GSX server or something?;-)
Anyway, I almost pass out sometimes around 5 PM when I forget to eat breakfast. Since I will be 82 in a few weeks, it is understandable although. I am sorry, I guess that what I am trying to say is that maybe I should have eaten you for breakfast when that happens. Better than nothing I guess...
Yep! There are a lot of examples where we use E = 0.5 * m * v * v to calculate kinetic energy. This doesn't make it true just because we use that formula or model if you prefer. It only constitute a good enough approximation for some cases.
Einstein has shown that the above model introduce a big error margin at very high speed and he came up with a much more precise formula that applies to all cases. Silly scientists that take their approximation model for realty and even debate it, that's funny!;-)

Overall, at first glance, I like it.
It is like IE around 2000. It does stuff behind your back. So, we can see it but you can't unless you look at it from a perspective outside the walled garden.
I am not sure what booting has to do with IME being present on your computer or not..

Last time I tried, I couldn't grab aluminum with a magnet.
I think they are BC-304. Anyway, here is what a F-304 seems to look like:

Why does Oracle often like maintenance costs? This seem awkward to me.
You'd think spending $6 trillion dollars (that's $6,000,000,000) on international affairs would fix things...
LOL!

He obviously did the same for his English test.
I guess you missed the part that said he was greedy.

Amazon's trucks are much more hi-tech too:

Interesting, I remember clicking on that once and noticing a discrepancy similar to what you have expressed. Then, I just forgot about it.
You are totally delusional Chris.

Nope, it is a story about America. Praise asphalt and gasoline!
By the way, David Bowie says god is an American so you better get used to it:

Another good one involving gasoline:

I am truly sorry again dear glazed donut,
You are clueless.
Yep! and Chuck Norris is about as close to infinite power as we can perceive. Therefore, Chuck Norris is virtually infinite power.

They must be really special atoms since protons are 3D with a Charge radius of 0.8751(61) fm
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/...
2 dimensional atoms made with 3D protons, this gets interesting!
The wonder material graphene gets many of its handy quirks from the fact that it exists in two dimensions, as a sheet of carbon only one atom thick.
Atoms are 3 dimensional, so no!
+1, That is a likely possibility.
