everything in OS X runs so much smoother with less configuration, Ubuntu takes a lil more effort but in the end runs on more hardware than OS X, it took me about 2 hours to get everything working with OS X Leopard on my homebuilt PC (that includes running the stock kernel and all stock kexts minus dsmos.kext) while it only took me 30 min to install Ubuntu on the same box for video and ethernet reasons.
I think that the use of relative pressure on the helm would do wonders, speaking from a standpoint of doing much racing its not really moving the help more resisting the movement of the helm. I would try to get it to sense the speed rotation and yaw of the boat through accelerometers and have it resist presure and not adjust movement much.
Hope this helps
i have called Apple support for my hackintosh (Dell Inspiron 2200 running OS X) for help getting my external monitor to display at higher resolutions. I just told them the "I just click next" argument and told them that it was on a dell becuase the VGA port was different. This confused him but beyond that they provided support for a stolen product on non-legal hardware. The lesson of this is that if Apple can be that accomodating other companies should be more accomadating to legal and non destructive OS changes.
So a "secret" court has a ruling about a "secret" wiretapping plan. And these "secret" things are able to make it into the media? Has the definition of secret changed since yesterday?
Since when are any candidates anti-evolution? And on top of this why exactly do we care whether they are or aren't? If this can influence any decision they make in office please let me know because I can't think of any.
i agree, i am currently using my wiimote as a mouse along with the nunchuck on my pc and playing CS:S with this is amazing. it makes gameplay so much easier and i regularly get blamed for cheating.
do you people really have that much trouble aiming the mouse as to worry about "hitting" a menu? I might have impressive skillzorz but i never just run to the top of the screen and i have no problem hitting what im aiming for.
somewhere in all those Arthur C Clarke shortstories theres one about anitgravity and if you read it there are many problems with it, such as the fact that it takes massive amounts of energy to create it and if you wanted to bring something into it it takes the same amount of energy as it would to move that object far enough away from all gravity forces to the point that its not affected any more to move that object the few inches into the feild. so think about it, what are the good things to come from "force feilds"?
In this case, you cannot be both (7 feet tall) and (not seven feet tall) at the same time.
Unless of coarse we are working in a quantum universe and then he is both 7 feet tall and not 7 feet tall just not at the same "place".
I love the *WHOOSH* sound that just made...

isnt this the point of a copyright, to stop copying?
I know it blends, but you can't breathe the dust and it must be quite crunchy.

I'll build my own internet, with backjack and hookers. Forget the internet and blackjack. Ahh, screw the whole thing.
