Yes, it would take an "Anonymous COWARD" to post that.
Really??? Well I'm not afraid to say un-anonymously that I hate Zionist terrorist thugs and think that Sharon should be twitching on the end of a rope for all the people he's ordered killed.
The bin Laden video? Could be real, could be fake. Big deal. We've also got lots of video implicating Bush in the deaths of innocents, and lots more implicating zionist terrorists in the deaths of innocents as well (try as they might, the IDF couldn't shoot all the journalists).
Jerusalem? Yeah Jews built it but later they were kicked out. And if how they are behaving now is any indication, they probably deserved it. Get over it.

I suggested something like this the last time this topic...I think it would work, and I can think of several other solutions without too much difficulty. How about using Drive Image to create CD-R Image disks of your O/S sans Magic Lantern and re-format and restore from the disks on a regular basis? What about other tried and tested methods of securing communications, such as one-time pads or pre-arranged codes? I think what the FBI is looking for is some sort of "Magic" fix that will relieve them of the need to do real police work. Sorry boys, you'll have to leave the donut shop sooner or later.
You know why, don't you? It's so the greed-mongers in the MPAA can jam more screenings in and increase their profit margin, after they've jacked the ticket price to ridiculous levels. In other words, you're paying more for less. They also want you to pay again for the second half of the movie...thinly disguised as (put movie title here) II.
One non-secure surfing/games box, and a standalone (preferably *nix) box for stuff that your government doesn't need to see (financial records etc). And no, I don't have anything bad to hide, it's quite simply none of their business. Store all your encryption keys on your standalone box and get your correspondants to adopt a similar configuration,. If you need nocommunicate securely, compose and encrypt/decrypt on the standalone box only, transferring encrypted text only files between the boxen via floppy. It's actually quite frigntening...what have our governments becomethat we all feel the need to protect ourselves from them?
...except that any country exercising those laws against the FBI and the US would run the risk of being declared "terrorist" and the bombs would be falling once again.
But isn't the FBI prohibited from running operations outside the US?
They also want more aliens, more space battles, and less internal conflict among the principal characters. Also, they want a lot less continuity so as not to confuse the casual or new viewer with too much backstory."
Wonderful! Next thing you know, you'll start seeing a few guest appearances by Lucy Lawless...
If the world needed another demonstration of America's most powerful weapon -- not bombs or special forces but pop culture -- it got it again this week...people's love for American techno-toys, TV shows, music and movies is breathaking...Junis predicts "Temptation Island" will be the number one show in Afghanistan within a month.
If this is true then humanity is doomed! We deserve to be wiped out by the first alien race that happens upon us...that is if we don't do it to ourselves first.
Didn't anybody here see Startup.com?. It was a documentary (screened abut half a year ago in a few theaters) about the travails of a startup known as Govworks. As a side point, one of the things I found interesting about this film was how many of the characters were so like people I had worked with. (I think it should be required viewing for anyone who has been or is involved with any kind of internet "startup"...preferably before one gets too deeply involved.)
I know, I know, I'll probably get modded to hell for this but I've got the points to burn and simply can't resist giving in to the Dark Side and Posting a link to this site.
..."ignoramus'" PCs...and they love it! especially when I explain that their lack of a qualifying product for an upgrade will mean that they will have to shell out 650 bucks (Cdn) for a full version. Free is a pretty strong persuader. I'm not sure if StarOffice qualifies as open source (for the purposes of our discussion), but the same argument can be applied to genuine open source products, including O/S's. Money remaining in the user's pocket instead of streaming into Bill's pocket is a concept that needs to be allowed to speak a little louder.

Agreed that just backing up to another HD provides the best overall method for creating a complete backup of 100MB of disk storage.
At the risk of being accused of picking flyshit out of pepper, wouldn't 100MB of disk storage fit onto one zip disk?

Felten's case needs to be heard by a jury of his peers, ie: people that actually understand the technology!
Someone should start a petition to bring back Wil Wheaton for this ST:TNG movie...
God! Nobody will ever accuse trekkies of not being fickle!

What I really want to see are re-runs of Star Trek The Animated Series!!!
...at a time when public feedback was hampered by the extraordinary anthrax infestations...
Before I didn't believe that the Anthrax might have domestic origins.
Now I'm not so sure.

I like this one better!
Bet they're thinking of offering two levels of service: A more costly ad-free one and a less expensive spam saturated one.
A newt?!?
....I got better...
Burn 'er anyway!
Sorry, couldn't resist!
and use it to gain access!

That's why I've got lots of songs on CDs. Yep...several CD-R's that are chock-full of MP3's just in case!
So my answer would have to be: Yes, it can be copied.

Otherwise we'll really have to hate you.
