    Most people and major companies hate upgrading.

    I had a professor, sociology, that had written his own textbook. He printed it all out himself and did the cheap plastic ring binding. He would sell the texts out of the back of his car the first week of the semester.

    He only charged what it cost him to put together plus a bit for labor. Four hundred page text for $25.

    I'm 26 and I can remember Reagan. Reagan spent the Soviet Union into the ground ending almost 90 years of crushing oppression, religious persecution, racial discrimination and mass murder.

    I'd call call that a hell of an accomplishment.

    NY Times registration is free (as in beer) and painless. I get an email from them mybe once a month. They don't hassle me otherwise.
