I think "Dead Like Me" was originally on ABC and didn't last a full season. Sci-fi ran the episodes a few times and then moved on. They do that alot with cancelled series.
Forget the physicists! Millions of lawyers are seeing dollar signs. Think of the damages they can sue those aliens for. The destruction of our universe must be monetized.
Fuck experts or playing games, I hope they deal with the real issues instead, like our failing economic policies, failing health care system, failing occupations of Iraq and Afghanistan, failing trade policies, failing dollar, and this miserable failure of an illegitimate presidency. I bet you do really well with the lib-tard skanks. I don't see any solutions from you so I'll just assume you're foaming at the mouth and not rational.
Someone else on/. in an earlier thread about Portal pointed out that 500 levels wouldn't have been enough. But that many would have drowned out the story. I've played through Portal about 8 times now and find something new each time. That kind of craftsmanship isn't an accident.
Hopefully Valve starts releasing bonus maps or *gasp!* episodic content. [Insert Flame Here] So far the Portal community maps aren't very impressive. But the full SDK should fix that.
If Murdoch doesn't play around with the newsroom the WSJ should continue its tradition of excellence. I've been reading the NY Times since it went free online and have been anticipating the same for the WSJ.
Cats are programmed to attack short jerky motions, such as mice running, and anything which freezes has a good chance of being ignored. So cats are alot like Velociraptors...no wonder I don't trust them.
I think you are thinking of this story: http://instruct.westvalley.edu/lafave/hb.html Harrison Bergeron
Its the only one I like by Vonnegut.
The early intake of PCB's seems to have made me [NO CARRIER]
Thanks for the correction. I was posting from work and couldn't look it up.
This is one of those times a "-1 Wrong" mod would be handy.

Try Fiesty Fawn running Xcfe. It runs very well on the 6 year old beat up Dell tomorrow I play around with.
Thanks IBM; this is just what I wanted for Christmas.
All I got you were these raspberries.

Sigh, there goes my karma.
I'll give Will Wright a call and see what he can do with procedural puzzle generating. It should be read by 2018.

I like the FSF but where were they with this a few months ago.
I have! The only thing it got me was a visit from the vice squad and sexual harassment suit.
So you're one of the codgers who didn't feel the need to install the extra wide gauge "tubes".
Way to be short sighted.
I kid...

Not to mention Cruella DeVille smoking a cigarette.
I smoke a pipe and I don't think my example has ever caused any children to smoke.
Bad webpage designers will get what they deserve in the event of a catastrophic failure.
Good webpage designers will not be adversely affected; it may even help to get some of the crap of the Web.

My server is in county lock up for exposing itself.
Thank you; I'll be here all week.
Go to OpenGL you idiots. Don't lock yourselves into the Combine's propritary format.
WWGFD?
Intel engineers should not be allowed to name the new chip lines after their D&D characters.
This gives new meaning to "massaging the data".
...Get off my lawn you damn kids!...
