I was thinking in the context of a dozens or hundreds of desks spaced apart and connected only to the power outlets. I'm too lazy to look up how the 500Mbit/s AV powerline systems handle sharing the medium but I bet it does not permit scaling up to support very many thin desktop clients. Also, managing the solution is probably not straightforward in the same way as even a modest corporate switching solution could be managed.
I would have thought that there might be a gap in the market for something more upscale to save structured wiring for, say, an older school or public building.
wireless seems to be the only suitable, easily deployable solution for those circumstances and wireless is hardly trouble free.
It would be nice to have better options for LAN over standard power wiring. I know options exist but they've never seemed that attractive for one reason or another.
A few RB250G switches and some mini-itx servers. I mount them all on a DIN rail on my garage wall. from there I have Cat 5e to every room in the house.
Back in the real world, where normal well-adjusted people actually want to use social media for social purposes, and don't attempt to "drop off the grid" by refusing phone lines, or physical addresses and don't have multiple passports like Jason Bourne or wear tinfoil terrorist masks. I would propose the following...
We'd like to see your facebook page...
OK, let's do that at the end of the interview when we've both decided that we want to work together, as one final thing I'll log in for you and let you see the asinine things my friends occasionally say, but that I don't endorse if you promise that if there's nothing to seriously question my morality, the jobs mine
Well I guess if the guy behind you has the same insurance then they could tell he was tailgating you by comparing your positions as you move down the road. The thing is, it's not your data, it's their data and you can bet that they won't grant you any access in order to, say, shop around for insurance or defend yourself against a lawsuit etc.
It seems like the features they made in the steel were far larger than those on the scorpion's outer surface. I wonder why they needed to scale it up so much.
That the French version still had a QWERTY keyboard layout. I guess internationalization wasn't its strong point. I learned a lot with mine though, like how to type in endless amounts of machine language in comments.
scrap them all. Build 3 Aircraft carrying submarines and tell people that there's one in the Med, a couple in the Pacific, one in the Atlantic, one in Lake Geneva etc. How long will it be before a drone can do much of what an F/A18 can do anyway ? It doesn't even have to be able to land back on the carrier, it can end with a bang or just fall into the sea for later recovery.
Yes, but the school districts will still determine which books are used via a "certification program". I don't expect the teachers will get any kind of free choice over what they teach from even if all the books are cost-free.
This Guy apparently hit himself in the leg when he dropped the gun at a Grocery store.
Again, This one is not a concealed carry, but as the guy was DEA and actually demonstrating gun safety to a group of children at the time he accidentally shot himself I think it merits inclusion on the grounds that accidents can clearly happen to even the most highly trained.
We people are the ones that could be shot at any time without warning because someone felt that the risk to others of their carrying a weapon was worth it. In this litigious society I would have though the insurance costs of packing heat would be prohibitive. Around 2% of gun deaths are from accidental discharges.
Then un-cue them when people get shot. At least this will save black people from having to pull a cellphone out of their pocket and wave it around to be shot by the police.
that not watching the adverts is stealing Television. I didn't know he actually ran Fox though. At least the nuclear industry will be safer now.

Sounds like they bared more than just witness.

For that matter, the truckers could offer in-motion refueling as well as virtual chauffeuring services.
actually it's just a mis-spelling of Yahoo.
Yes, because if the Neighborhood watch were a police force Zimmerman would have been suspended pending some sort of an investigation.
but I bet you could adapt it...
to which it holds...

For some definition of unique known only to Hitachi Hokusai Electric.

I see it as being great that China offshores its education system.
By my watch...
Every time the TSA has given me a feedback form I've filled it in with compliments on their professionalism.
Driving certainly should be considered transport. Just put scanners at weigh stations and wave in drivers at random for inspection.
most of the road signs have been blasted. I'm betting some are looking forward to seeing the Autonomous Skeet.

This time thankfully only soda cans bought it.
This timeit was a support column.
This time a cop accidentally shot a Bologna, so I guess it's not a CCW, and maybe the Bologna was resisting arrest.
This time it was in a starbucks, some kind of lead extra latte.
This one was in a school.
