You might want to wait for the demo CD to be updated to the 2.0 product.
From the website:
"The current Demo CD is based on the eComStation 1.2 product and does not reflect the current state of the eComStation 2.0 product.
For example, the only supported virtual machines for this Demo CD are Parallels Desktop and Microsoft Virtual PC.
An updated Demo CD will be published shortly."
What do you mean memories? I've still got a working IIgs and a IIc+:-)
But then again, I collect vintage computers & game systems (love my intellivision).
And yes, I'm older than 30.

Every year, the folks down at Best Buy run a sale for the day after Thanksgiving. I know other places do this.. but I've never seen it
as bad as at Best Buy. There's alway a huge line (and I used to stand in it).... but right as the doors open, there's always this mob of people
who rush the door and just work their way in, regardless of the folks in line. It used to just piss me off to no end, but now I simply don't go.
The FDIC's purpose is to prevent the frequent bank runs that happened in the late 1920's & early 1930's by providing some sense of security for Joe Average. Joe Average isn't going to be able to tell if a bank is sound or not, heck... the experts couldn't even tell if some of these banks were sound. Some of these assets are so complicated... nobody even knows what they're worth... how is Joe Average supposed to figure it out? It's not Federal Compassion... it's Federal protection from corruption.
Perhaps finding someone who has some of these old computer(s) and parts,
would enable you to copy the data you need. Many of these collections
contain working machines that you might could access. My personal collection
stretches back into the '70s, but most of my stuff is from the 80's.

Green Initiative... yeah right. They're just looking to cut costs to make more money. I bet the "cost savings" doesn't get passed on to the customer.
I'm sure that'll be useful.

I don't think my Intellivision nor my Atari 2600 had nearly the gore level of these games.. :-)
We may not need new laws.. but what we DO need is ENFORCEMENT of the old laws.

Print out a copy of all the slashdot suggestions and include it. In 50 years they might have an idea of who was *Insightful* or *Full of it*.

Airtran used to be ValuJet... anybody remember them?
"being mean" is not a crime. -- No, but an adult preying on a child is a crime.
I think a better first question would be: Is AMD still going to be around long enough for this to matter? Disclaimer: I'm a shareholder.

Or if we'd have taken the un-emotional text messesaging device out of his hands.
They seem to work fine with WINE. (You just need to bring the cheese) :-)
I wonder if the Stock Market will actually go up in these fantasy worlds.
