    think that the same reason why touchscreen technology never caught on until recently is the same reason why motion controllers like the Wiimote never caught on until the Wii, You mean until the p-p-p-powerglove!

    No, it isn't the reason. The reason is that Canonical has the position that Ubuntu must use the same version of a software package during a the life of a distro. That's why Wine always stays the same version in the Ubuntu repository. Now, if Ubuntu Hardy would include ff 2.0 and it would be EOL'd during Hardy's lifetime, Hardy would probably be vulnerable to exploits via ff 2.0. And since Hardy is an LTS release they chose to include betas and other not complete versions of their software packages so these version wouldn't EOL before Hardy did. Sounds reasonable enough. Just wait and all those nasty betas and RCs will disapear.

    Well well, another reason NOT to use Vista MCE. If you simply ignore a broadcast flag this only annoys people who pay for commercial software. I, on the other hand, couldbuild a MythTV box without any problems whatsoever :)

    When there are ads on tv, mute the sound. Why? Because it won't pollute your ears and watching them without sound makes people in ads look like complete retards. Don't believe me? Try it. When you cut the sound you notice quite easily that people are completely acting.
