What really sucks, is that "options" below this edit box, doesn't actually give you options for formatting of THIS post, instead you get a SlimBox to change your global-prefs.
For the most savings, buy a late-year previous gen around March of the following year.E.g. Purchase a Sep.-Nov 2015 model, in March 2017. Otherwise you are going to mostly see full priced (~$600) phones. Whereas those $500-$600 phones will be $300 to $400 within a little over a years time.
For example, the Moto X Force, Asus Zenphone 2, and LG's V10.
As a feature, "user-changeable batteries" has been chopped almost across the board. LG was the last major OEM to do so. Yet that is not the same thing as, "user-replaceable batteries". Where the first requires a mechanism to easily slide a battery in and out - without taking the device apart. the latter just requires one be able to take the device apart without destroying the frame. That's what I've run into the most, if you can actually get the device apart the battery is not usually glued in place and can be replaced.
For instance, the Pixel's internal design took cues from Googles Modular Phone endeavor -- and many of the internal components are easily replaceable. They (google) don't get any credit for that at all. As most of the user-reaction to Google (here and other tech-enthusiast sites) crap all over them no matter what they do.
The smart-phone market is heavily slanted towards a few key players. The other OEMs need to either charge much less (and less profit) to gain marketshare, or charge more (less sales) -- which doesn't put any of them in a very good place. When the other OEMs go-it-different than the majors, and don't see any increase in sales, then we will continue to see what we are seeing: everyone making the same thing with minor differences.
There was no Media Tax on internet service. Blank DVD/CD's likely aren't selling like they used to either. Further, The **AA's are not legally capable of suing a Canadian citizen into financial oblivion. So about all the **AA's can do is rattle sabers once a year.
Intel has been talking about 10nm for at least 3 years. They "pretended" to show off a 10nm chip recently, but all indications point to maybe 2018... the launch of 10nm has been delayed at least three times (official announcements).
Of course, you will just need a dongle and white gold Android-to-iPhone-converter-inductor-plate for $69.99 -- except for the the black Qi chargers, they wont work at all.
The Ars coverage of this was much more thorough. Android Wear 2.0 is nice, but Google Fit saw the most improvements. Of the two watches launching with Android Wear 2.0, the more expensive LG Sport is all about the additional sensors and activity tracking... not Notification Cards.
Pretty much every documentary, and article that I've come across over the last 10 years on the "purpose of sleep|dreaming" say nearly the exact same thing. Maybe these "researchers" could build on what is already known instead of regurgitating known facts.
* Forget unimportant crap. * Solidify New Memories. * Clear out built-up toxins.
There's little reason to argue with someone whom is diametrically opposed to what you believe reality to be. You cannot change their mind. At best you get pissed off, and waste your time.
When you realize this, you waste less time arguing with those you know to be morons.
Not even. It's Apple's WebKit. So don't count on "Chrome" extensions to continue to work either.

Indeed. I logged in to update my password... Facebook makes even Amazon look uncluttered.
Wait, Slashdot had a QA Team?

We already have Ad-Free YouTube Red, Ad-Free Netflix, Ad-Free Prime, and Ad-Free Hulu. Facebook need not apply.
Yes oddly enough, it's still cheaper for the electricity to pump water to SoCal (from Colorado) than desalination plants.
The logic of the TSA. They confiscate Zippos, but not matches nor disposable " Bic" lighters.
Money measures power. The affluent do not want to redistribute their deserved power.
You mean like Slashdot posting a CS Professor's opinion on H1B and Silicon Valley... yeah that.
Sure. Total Commander. But we all wish it was written in C/C++ and not a closed source program, by a single curmudgeon developer.
I prefer my Pick-Axe. Plus the Zombie Apocalypse is coming.
That and the people that use Puppet (that I have seen, e.g. Web Devs), aren't doing much more than a basic GREP and PIPE bash script. Tools for Fools.
AutoHotkey... which is basically C with optional curly braces... Did you hear that Python? optional curly braces... imagine that.

When did intel announce 10nm chips || date range [2015 - 2016]

But then Windows wont look like stupdified mobile...

It doesn't matter if anyone visits the site or not. Amazon just uses the IMDB data for "XRay".
Can't wait for the Amazon Usurper quite frankly. Their Sales portal is utter crap compared to even Target and Walmart.
Even AliExpress is frequently easier to use than Amazon.
I see. So what privacy has been taken from you?

And you think the mobile version isn't a security nightmare...because it has a different GUI?
