Some proponents of the Chicago School still brag about what their boys set up when they went down to give Pinochet an invisible hand.
Other people, we still get a little steamed at mass murder.
Abolish unions?
Right to peaceably assemble much?
How about, instead of becoming President, you actually study what happened the last time assholes like you were in even more control: Ever hear of the Gilded Age?
You're off a bit here. Surface wear can be an issue, but a good stylus on a light tonearm, combined with basic care of the turntable and the records, gives you a long-lasting music connection. Vinyl doesn't break down the way the coating on a CD does, and I can still enjoy listening to many records in wonderful condition that are twice my age (23).
Of course, going purely digital and just downloading lossless formats is another option, but not everyone has a good stereo system for their computer.
Yes, because you have to rock hard to shill for shoes.
Sure, CDs are crap and I doubt I'll buy another one, but I've still got two turntables and pick records up every chance I get. As far as digital distribution goes, why not give someone a couple bucks? Radiohead has already made millions off In Rainbows and it hits stores Tuesday.
You mean couch instead of coach, right?
I couldn't figure out how you'd need or work with a guy yelling the next play to you, or an old horse-drawn carriage or something.
A democracy does not ideally follow the will of the majority. Ideally, it follows the law. The Constitution of the United States is set up to protect the rights of the minority, as are the rules of the American gov't.
Don't conflate the will of the people with what you hear from the speaker on your television.
You mean having sponsorships for new symphonies and such? This was a very common method for new music once upon a time, after the rise of the middle class.
Oh, come on now. This is just as much a load of crap as the RIAA going after barbershops that keep a radio turned up!
So why don't they just ask for some kind of CIWS?
I'm not sure if I should feel envy or pity that you can fit your entire music library (and a few movies!) in 16GB.

Yes, because history shows that every time anyone expands the list of capital crimes, the list of wrongful executions gets shorter.

Quit complaining about the free market, man. Those employees didn't do anything but work their butts off; they didn't invest *capital*!
Apple switched to Intel chips, remember? Some people like to work around things; some people thinks what Steve Jobs doesn't know won't hurt them. ;)
*cough* He's a spammer *cough* Him and that mini city guy have been all over these past couple days.
The best part is, as I read this, it is (Score:3, Funny)
Yeah, despite the fact that AT&T et al. were asked to do this about 2 weeks after Bush took office.
Why did this take four replies?
How is this modded redundant? It's the first post with any content!

Closing the shutters on the windows, obv
Clearly, privacy is still valuable to some morons, at least!
The recidivism rates for most child molestation crimes are actually lower than those of sexual assault on adults and many property and drug crimes.
Yeah, NAFTA really helped the poor. Why be a dirt farmer in Oaxaca when you can go to the border and live in a toxic maquilladora?
Maybe if y're in a shit band, I guess.

It was http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Willie_SuttonWillie Sutton, matter of fact.
