    if your bored and search around for free mmo's, eventually you come across all the adult themed ones, there's lots of em, but none of em are free.

    Well just to clarify... it's not a "heavy nuke" but rather it's when you wear Heavy armor and use the nuke cannon to go flyin. IIRC only the heavy armor could carry the nuke gun, unless you were playing with mods.

    Tribes had some of the crazies mods ever...

    I remember one version of the havoc mod (i think) that let you launch a supernuke that you actually flew/guided manually. that was soooo awesome.

    yes, these are truly awesome things, i remember when bunnyhopping in counter-strike actually worked, oh man that was great for the ramp in dust...

    and of course the original Tribes, which changed the bunnyhop into skiing, and also combined it with rocket(disc) jumping, or maybe a heavy nuke jump... :-D that was some crazy awesomeness.

    along with that i really love the quake done quick videos.

    my favorite is still "the rabbit run" going thru easy mode in just under 11 minutes, freakin amazing.

    i read this article yesterday and thought it was very interesting. I didn't know much about SSD's besides the common "better performance but not worth the money" opinion. Nor did i know about the 1st gen problems that most of them have. Good stuff, anyone interested in getting a SSD soon should definitely read this.

    while you're point is valid, people are going to (and did) obviously still buy HL2, to clarify for those that never got to try it out, the alpha leak had working demos of stuff that was shown at gaming conferences and used as promo vids online. i ran it on a geforce 4600 and a 1.4ghz AMD with 512 DDR ram, i still have burned copies of that alpha leak, infact.

    and it only needs to be compiled once, after that it's just copy-copy-copy
