Well just to clarify... it's not a "heavy nuke" but rather it's when you wear Heavy armor and use the nuke cannon to go flyin. IIRC only the heavy armor could carry the nuke gun, unless you were playing with mods.
Tribes had some of the crazies mods ever...
I remember one version of the havoc mod (i think) that let you launch a supernuke that you actually flew/guided manually. that was soooo awesome.
yes, these are truly awesome things, i remember when bunnyhopping in counter-strike actually worked, oh man that was great for the ramp in dust...
and of course the original Tribes, which changed the bunnyhop into skiing, and also combined it with rocket(disc) jumping, or maybe a heavy nuke jump...:-D that was some crazy awesomeness.
along with that i really love the quake done quick videos.
i read this article yesterday and thought it was very interesting. I didn't know much about SSD's besides the common "better performance but not worth the money" opinion. Nor did i know about the 1st gen problems that most of them have. Good stuff, anyone interested in getting a SSD soon should definitely read this.
i wonder how the manual moving it works, with a motor u get a good constant speed... but manual, not so much, and it seems like that kind of thing would affect the quality of prints...
seriously, who is really surprised microsoft did this? sure other companies (itunes/amazon) got smart and are moving away from the DRMs, but it's not surprising at all to see MS stick with it.
while you're point is valid, people are going to (and did) obviously still buy HL2, to clarify for those that never got to try it out, the alpha leak had working demos of stuff that was shown at gaming conferences and used as promo vids online. i ran it on a geforce 4600 and a 1.4ghz AMD with 512 DDR ram, i still have burned copies of that alpha leak, infact.
and it only needs to be compiled once, after that it's just copy-copy-copy
yea, if gaming companies ruled the government we'd have tons of achievements!
"sex change" != sex
however what your suggest would not surprise me.
if your bored and search around for free mmo's, eventually you come across all the adult themed ones, there's lots of em, but none of em are free.

my favorite is still "the rabbit run" going thru easy mode in just under 11 minutes, freakin amazing.
I'll do one better than call you...
I'll show up with a cake and we'll have a nice party!

Hmmmm, this sounds vaguely familiar on the interwebs...
heh
http://xkcd.com/538/
but chuck norris can.
I've been wondering for some time now if I should try and get linux going on the PS3. this sounds like a great place to start.
it's possible? i didn't even think slashdot allowed you to post non-anon in a discussion you modded...
gamers will do it for the games + DX10.
smart gamers will dual boot tho, or triple boot (ubuntu+xp+win7 ftw)
and sometime in the future, wires won't be needed for power either! tho prolly not for 10$...

i read the message before reading your title and thought "but there are two F's in "stuff" ....doh.
o yea, well a scale i just invented goes all the way down to -1,000,000 Y
what is this Y scale?
Y scale is a temperature scale defined as being -1,000,000 at 0 degrees K. and 0 degrees Y is defined as being 72 degrees F.
oo pwnd.

they are serious.
looks more like zoidberg with a paper hat, which is of course ridiculous, because he would have eaten it.
GTA:IV soon, Mirror's Edge... (well console, and not really "FPS", but close, and should be out on PC early part on 09 i think.)
at first i assumed that Duke ment Duke Nukem, and was rather confused...
Duke Nukem wants none of your bullshit, RIAA!

a) goose
b) human
c) squirrel
d) cowboy (you know the one)
i think i'll go with C.
therefor sharks have Squirrelbumps.
"so maybe I should try a different client."
utorrent ftw.
