I don't blame Trump for this. I don't even blame the people really. I blame the DNC.
We've survived 8 years of Bush. We can do this. At the very least it should be an entertaining 4 years or however long it takes him to get impeached for war crimes.
I seriously doubt the public will remember. I doubt most people even understand exactly what she did and why it's a serious crime. Not even Donald Trump seems to comprehend it or else he would be pummeling her with it day and night.
Our only hope is that these two burn each other to the ground in the general election. They both get incinerated by a random bolt of lightning and we have an empty chair as president for the next four years.
This is true but I don't know what your point is. Our culture has a similarly bad aspect to it so we can't call out another culture's absolutely horrible aspect?
Troubleshooting. Everyone uses it at some point eventually. It's a pure and yet practical form of critical thinking. Teaching coding? Most people won't get much out of it I think.
I have to say the way the news covers this seems a little odd. They phrase it as though this is a problem because I guess hackers could break into this and steal government secrets. It seems to me that the greater concern is that by hiding and then destroying government records it makes her that much more unaccountable to the people.
So it works out to be 15k median. Which I think also might be misleading. I think that number neglects people who just don't want to do anything special for the wedding and really just want to focus on the marriage.
The average wedding is not 36k. The source for that number was a survey in a high end bridal magazine which caters to the type of reader that would spend that much on a wedding.
I just can't comprehend the idea of using the internet to satisfy my social needs to the point that some jackasses on Wikipedia could ruin my day. I've noticed that paradoxically there's something about conversations where getting punched in the face isn't a possibility that tends to make them very uncivilized.
One a scale of 1(fictitiously idealized America) to 10(Trumps America) this makes me about a 3.5 or 4 in uneasiness. Not nearly enough to head for Canada but enough to maybe read up on them.
It's all part of a government conspiracy. Follow the money it's all there. Big Pharma doesn't make anything off preventing a disease in the first place let alone curing it. It's all a cabal of 435 powerful individuals in Washington. They funded it, they're pushing it! And their shadow agenda? A healthier populace that can work and pay more in taxes!
If I might play devil's advocate here. The fact there were once far more women in IT is often brought up in the shortage of woman in IT situation. The idea is to say "see, woman must have loved to do engineering work until those evil white males drove them away with their neckbeards".
However from actually reading the article I'm only seeing low level support personnel. The kind of job that is usually made obsolete by a combination of technology and an efficient workplace.
So, at least according to the article, we know the cause of the decline of woman in the IT workplace. We just have less of a call for tape librarians.
That last line sounded kind of sexist now that I read it can. Feel free to burn some of my karma to get me square with the gods of Social Justice.
Most of the pics in the article were of woman doing clerical and data entry. These job functions have been largely automated. So it would kind of make sense that the more we automate away the jobs that woman performed in tech, the less women will be there.
Am I missing something? The article is SJW bate right? But content of the article don't seem conducive towards an good old fashion SJW flame war.
We've reached a point technologically where my own phone will go full SJW rage on me and dox me for microaggressions. Bet Arthur C. Clarke never saw that coming.
I think it's good for making things that don't exist. Saves me from having to walk up and down Home Depot looking for just the right thing to butcher. Also, abs plastic is pretty tough stuff. It's good for a fair number of applications which require some strength.
Another way to look at it is in addition to activists groups, corporations, billionaires, we now have nation stations lobbying for candidates.

They could try to stay neutral during the primaries.
seems like we're a bit short of those these days.
I doubt the welfare of society played much of a factor in this decision.

Oh no not kotaku! Now how will I know if the new Fallout game reinforces rape culture and the marginalization of the trans community.
This sounds exactly like a series of scenes covered by Bad Lip Reading. There's a lesson to be learned there. Not sure what though.
Now us Windows 10 users can be considered a protected class. Down with Slashdot's hate for Windows 10.
