It's Facebook. Individual rights and privacy are irrelevant as long as the folks at the top keep getting their paycheck. People should learn how to socialize the old fashioned way, face to face.
VW will probably end up doing a fizzle and burn. I had VW for about 6 months after they bought out AllTel (never had one problem with Alltel), the service was extremely lousy (admitted by one of their own CS reps). They make big jumps now, just like they did then. They are probably just as unprepared for it now as they were then.
With a dress code. There are some people in this world that shouldn't be wearing the clothes they're wearing. We've all seen them. Regardless of what you look like physically (read as naked), with the proper clothing, anyone can become a real looker. UBS, being the type of company it is, expects their people to dress professionally so they attract "professional customers" (read into that what you will). I would certainly hope they pay their employees enough to keep a nice wardrobe, the type of clothes they want you to wear, you won't be buying at Walmart.
In the long run, if the money is right, it's only part of your life. Just think, when you get home, you can dress up in the spouse's clothing and go have a blast....or not.
I seriously doubt that Wikileaks had anyone best interest in mind when they published the information. What good will it really serve? As you've said, the amount of hurt, problems, and more this will cause was not, I'm sure, ever considered. He has also not given a shred of thought to what will probably happen to him once the wrong person/people catch up with him.
Which would have been the perfect place to put it. Not your every day run of the mill helium balloon mind you, but something more along the lines of a weather balloon.
Quite obvious how out of touch certain government officials really are. Not that it's news to anyone though. As is typical, they sit in their ivory towers and have become so out of touch with what the average citizen understands as reality, they they can't fight the battles they've been hired to fight.
Yeah, things are tough all over. Cities and states are starting to find out they need to generate some extra revenue now, so they try just about legal tactic they can. I'd have to say that this seems almost borderline legal though. A though of standing up in court and telling the judge that the officer was going to rape you just because he looks the type kind of amounts to the same thing.
Regardless, the wind farms are a good move. They won't reduce our dependency on oil, but will help (albeit slightly) with the consumption of electricity from the grid. With the exception of some errant ship captain running his ship into one, there really isn't much to worry about. The installation and maintenance will provide jobs, and hopefully make that deceased, hypocritical nutjob Kennedy roll over in his grave (a perfect selling point for me).
You've got to be kidding me. From someone that has owned an HTC phone, I can tell you that the iPhone wins hands down as far as I'm concerned. HTC doesn't have a clue when it comes to cell phones, they offer glitz over function, and I'm not buying into the glitz thing, I want functionality.

And think of the money he's saved us!
Carry this a bit further, let's blame the GPS folks for giving directions if the assassin uses one.
What about the clothes manuf. the made the sneaky clothes he wears?
You hit that nail on the head!
All of those records are nice I suppose, but I'm thinking, "who really cares?" about most of them.
Hey, that was 1959, who knew anything about that stuff back then? If you could sell an upside down pie tin as a UFO....
Still yet, it was pretty hokey, even for Gregory Peck.
How about they all become government contractors and sell their services back to the government?
Good job!
I would add, "And your password will not be visible when you create it, so make sure you type it correctly."
Isn't going to be happy about this!
Don't have a facebook, twitter or any other social networking account. What can they ask you for then?

It's nothing more than a Big Brother scheme in disguise. So how do illegal aliens fit into this little ol program, eh?

That is sad.
Your sign!
Where do these people come from? Is he the Barney Fife of the anti-porn league down there?
Tinfoil Hat!
For walking out of the front door. Seems as though there was some guy from 235 years ago that came up with the idea.
Go figure

Up, Up and Away!
But can you move the soul?

Or maybe I'm just jaded?

And we're supposed to trust the government on this why?
Another version of Big Brother?

I'm all for it.
Since I'm apparently not picking it for YOU, yes, it qualifies me to pick a winner "hands down" for me.
Next question?
