Perhaps those 'decent' education would have ruined his creativity and his pursuit in this 'hobby.' May be it would have made go get a job as a stock broker or what not.
Sometimes education is not all it's cracked out to be.
I asked Dr. Google. He won't tell me. He talks about Linux, Windows, and some weird kinky stuff called BSD...but no where can I find this new operating system called PC...and yet so many people are using it!
I want to be in, people. Let me in.
My wife came up with this concept: use a small gift bag...with decorative patterns.
We have a small gift bag (size that will fit a book or two) lying around beside our sofa with all the small gadget stuff such as rechargers, headsets, my notebook wireless card, etc.
It looks cute and we know where things are. Granted they do get tangled once in a while but it's not so bad.
I agree. I really enjoyed TLJ but by the end of DF, I felt I was watching poorly executed visual novel.
If I wanted a visual novel, I would have rented a movie; if I wanted a novel, I would have bought a book. But when I buy a game, I hope to immerse myself in the game world and actually do something. Play, naturally.
Unless at that precise moment, the patient meets 'the' hot nurse.
Rest is history...or will be. All because the monitoring machine couldn't alert the authorities/doctors fast enough... OTL
I do like the fact that they are letting you know.
Having said that, I live in a household where we average 120GB per month on good months... and thus I was hoping to move on to DSL though this issue with Bell is making me pause a moment.
I wonder if this issue will ever get resolved and how long it would take. One hand, I don't want to pay $2 / gb over usage...on the other, I don't want to pay for something that's only 30 KB for even simple browsing.
At some point, those incompetent outsourcing firms will soon have experienced developers after north american corporations dump a good fortune on them.
Those people in China and India may be incompetent now but they will soon have enough experience and expertice.
Then the these corporations will have best of both worlds: cheap labor with experience.
So...am I worried? A bit.
I think you are missing the point. Yes, it's open to tourists and what not BUT that's not what is at stake here. It's the business, interllectual properties and etcetera.
From what I remember reading, you still need to bribe officials heavily if you want to operate business successfully. The bribing may be equated as 'networking' or 'getting that official's son into this university in US' but in the end, it will be the Chinese government who will benefit, not even the public in general.
In fact, if a business fails to meet the agenda of Chinese government or those key officials, they can easily close it down with one reason or another. Unless you got the backup of another equally or more powerful, your complaint would be ignored or get lost in the 'bureaucracy'.
Perhaps it's similar to US in some aspects but at least in US, you can make a bit more noise before you are permanently silenced.
Do you swap it in for better one? From iLoverGiga to iLoverTouch? Replace it with last good memory?
What if you get into fights? Go to 'hospital' and improve personality?
Granted, it will be cheaper(?) and/or easier to 'improve' and 'repair' the lover, once you bring back the dead lover one too many times, the illusion will break, I think.
There is a reason why toys can't replace pets. For every person who will never adopt one, I am certain there is another who can't live without them for their love and personality.
Why not wait until Bush is out of the office. Then send him to jail for all the crimes on a fair trial. I remember South Korea sending a few of their former presidents to jail.
It won't make a difference at this point anyway since invasion happened already.
One of the relatives of my wife's have 5 or 6 children in their family. They simply tried for a boy as the parents strongly believed a son will take care of them later on once the girls move out. I believe all the kids have a difference of 1 year from their eldest.
I think many times people confuse that extra noise in the background with live-ness and depth and warmth... so why not add noise adder to one of the mp3 player functionalities and viola, live sound!
Wait... most CD players already have these... ah well. I guess we just need to turn on those equalizers(sp) then.
I used to subscribe to several magazines in 90's where they would actually include pages and pages of code, some of them describing how certain functions worked. Most of the times, they would include 10 pages long code using Basic or C to create a very simple game.
The fact that you could get a magazine and actually make a game really hooked me in, although all I did was just cut&pasting the code already given. It didn't matter whether I understood what I was typing or not. Those parts came later.
There were also a lot of how-to's on game tuning and even pc assmebly. I have seen some here and there but as far as gaming is concerned, we can no longer just type on a text editor and create bang out a game. Most of the games, except for few indie ones, we need several people working on it. Of course, all of these are more for developers and I am sure there are several game magazines catered towards such audience. (umm...any recommendations?)
I think the matter of the fact is that game industry has matured. It used to be that game players were actually semi-amaturerish developers themselves and they were not only interested in shiny graphics but also what drove them. There were lots to talk about.
Now that we have totally separated developers from gamers, the magazines can't be anything more than advertisements which TV--as game commercials are now on prime time tv slot--and internet do more than justice.
Besides, I hear publishing industry over all is taking a hit so...
You can download the SPA and some other Al Lowe's old games here: http://www.allowe.com/More/download.htm

+1 to parent.
No, Christ is not in charge of Twitter. But you may ask what Jesus Christ would do in situation: WWJD
Oops, wrong thread.

Let's hope your money still worth by then. At this rate, RMB might be more expensive then EUROs...
Because if the water bears posted using mind control, we are already screwed. Well, I for one, welcome the new water bear overlords.
The fact that the propery you purchased is stolen sorta defeats the whole argument.

Probabaly men can ignore chores easier than women...hack, I know I can just close my eyes on all the cleaning that's required...
Though perhaps that's more of a personality.
Does "brains are wired different" count as an answer?
I wonder if Radiohead will still make as much if they release another album as there will no longer be "oooh, first time for the market" value.
In that regards, I agree that few will succeed following this method.

It's just different culture and belief.
Nowdays, kids just abandon their parents anyway.
