Someone is trying to make you believe that forest fires were just as plentiful when it was lightning starting them instead of careless humans (example throwing lit cigarettes out the car window)
And they lasted just as long before humans took all the water.
I used to spend every winter in Florida for work, and I often stayed to burn up my vacation (use it or lose it) and go camping.
Since I spent most of my time in the keys and on the Atlantic side of the state for work, I tried to spend time on the gulf side to check out. There was always a little bit of foul smell, and yuck, but one year it was particularly bad.
I ended up camping in the mangroves as it was the only acceptable place to be because of the stench and who knows what nasties that were washing up on the shore.
It was actually really fun (but that's a story for another time)
As always, it looks like just another patch of overgrown whatever, but it's so much more!
I filled my gas tank with 20 gallons of fuel, and hit the highway. About 10 miles later, I smelled gas, so I pulled over. I soon realized that the straps that held my gas tank up had rusted through, and the tank was dragging on the road.
I didn't want my Jeep to be sitting in a 20 gallon puddle of fuel, so I got back in and drove it (5 miles) till it all ran out, and coasted as far away as I could get.
I really wanted to light that trail of gas on fire, but I knew damn well it would've found its way to my Jeep and BOOM!
The whole time I was ready to make an emergency jump for it if it started on fire while I was driving it:)
I use a network monitor on my Android phone (network monitor mini) and I am amazed how many apps hit the network the instant you wake your phone up. I've even tried restricting background data for the apps that show up, but it made no difference.
I really miss Windows Mobile, and that's saying something!
Damn you HP for killing PalmOS!!
Jolla?
I'll bet it's hard to get venture capital without a good plan to capitalize on your users personal information.
Were they used in hi-lift missions that wouldn't allow for recovery?
Why would you ditch them in the water if you could save them? You'd think you could safely scrap those and recover quite a bit of cash.
Once you've proven you can land them safely, why would we want them just littering the ocean? They should have properly recycled them if at all possible.
I use that range for industrial automation. The remote access VPN routers will not connect if the same network address range is used twice along the connection.
Usually the factories are on the 10.xx network, and you're likely to encounter the 192.xx network anywhere, so it's easy to get locked out of your remote machine if you use the common ranges.
Many of the (Siemens) Ethernet devices also use that range for the default IP, so it makes remote recovery much easier as well.
I get the feeling that the legacy code in the BSDs was of a much higher quality, whereas the old Linux code was likely a steaming pile that no one really knew what it did, or wanted to touch.
I wonder if they'll make you get a membership for the prime seats?
If I bought a billion dollars worth of property for one dollar, or doesn't change what it's worth.
It's not sales tax.

How the hell is anyone so delusional?

They broadcast multiple signals used to calibrate other devices.
They are standards.
They require maintenance, traceability, and calibration.
And the ROP hacker nearly shits himself with all the new gadgets he has at his disposal.
Will this result in a headache?
I just played it this weekend!

Scary AF!
The drivers ed teacher didn't like the whole "spin the steering wheel at 100 RPM" tactic when I tried it...
Ahhhj! You've figured it out!
The fully autonomous driving will be on Pole Position!
Way to sleuth the clues:)
All votes will be tallied on the blockchain!

I've noticed s lot of them still keep the internal temp in degrees C and just show it in F
You can see the 9/5 if you count along when you press the buttons repeatedly.
To listen to music?
Oh, they'll be paid.
Remember where that money goes to!
They'll just add some more time for bad behavior, and make the prisoners work it off for $0.10 an hour after they're back on the low risk unit.
Here's all they need to know!

Can it accelerate to that speed, and stop again in 1.2km
Look up how much distance it takes a supercar. World record 0-400-0 is 2.4 km.
So it only takes half the distance of the world record setting Koenigsegg Agera and it got another 50 km/h.
Lame

Academic vs Hobby.
Good thing the people programming them will not be any of the experts!
That makes me feel safe...
I'll put this next to it!

Sorry!
(Doesn't everyone have the day off?)
Imagine being in a third world country, where you might only have one standard double outlet for your entire hut.
Sorry if you wanted the light on while you charge your phone.
