Except no one gives a fucking shit about anything other than Bitcoin and Ethereum, and Ethereum is in a death spiral due to the ICO bullshit, the scams, the "hacks", the forks, and of course the fact that Ethereum is just a shitty alt that's effectively pegged to BTC and mined by people who have GPUs but not ASICs.

Bitcoin is THE cryptocurrency. Mining anything else is like fighting for scraps and then hoping someone will buy those scraps from you at some point.

If I were still in the game, I'd consider buying Bitcoin soon (I don't think it's bottomed out yet) with intention to sell in 1 to 2 years.

Which the chief side effects of antidepressants are depression and suicide, that doesn't mean they didn't do anything, it means they CAUSED those things to occur in higher rates in controlled trials. And when the ads say "GoodVibraxil is believed to work by adding funzones to your whizwhams and blocking your gloffin's ability to access to nega particles", you know it's a fucking sham.

The way it works now is they inject random shit into volunteers (the homeless, prisoners, etc.) and then if there are any semi-positive effects they invent a disease that corresponds to it. Then they pay for study after study until they got one statistically in their favor, then they run to the FDA with it for the good ol' rubber stamp.

Misappropriation? What, are they cheating on their taxes?

The SJW term they want is "cultural appropriation", as in, "STOP APPROPRIATING MY CULTURE!". Which is an entirely bullshit concept. Should the Germans raise hell about cultural appropriation every time a non German has a Christmas tree? Should Mexicans not serve/sell Mexican food to non Mexicans? Cultural appropriation is what this country of immigrants is all about. Do you want to ban all "X-Y-fusion" cuisine? Cut off the weebs from their anime? (Or cut off the Japanese from their anime because they "appropriated" US comics % Donald Duck to create it?)

Why do the SJWs love to remind us that we're ALL immigrants, but now seem to hate when anyone shares, adopts, or is influenced by other cultures? Do they want us all living in different enclaves, hating each other? (Yes, they do. Decades ago the official metaphor was a melting pot. Now it's a stew. Because in a melting pot, you lose the "identity" of individual ingredients as they blend.)

The earliest modern claim of "cultural appropriation" I can remember is people saying whites stole music (like jazz) from blacks to make their own (like rock and roll). WTF kind of sense does that make? At least save such criticisms for when it actually makes sense, like the 80s and 90s miasma of white suburbanites pretending to be urban blacks. But hey, I guess a bunch of MTV execs made tons of money off of it, so it gets a pass?

People are right to hate on this "Bodega" startup. Not because it poses a threat to small businesses. Not because it's appropriating culture. But because it'll be a shitty, manufactured, mockery of a small market.

  18. Yes, but hearing aids draw a lot less power than something with a display, nor do they have the computing power of a lot of these devices. They're pretty incredible bits of engineering (if overpriced), but they're in a different league.

You can typically use any "battery" tech to power any device. Dry cells, wet cells, alkaline, zinc, zinc air, lithium, NiCd, NiMH, Li-Ion, Li-Poly, potatoes, whatever. It's a question of cost and density, not whether or not it's feasible or safe to be user-serviceable. If you want the battery to be more robust you just package it in a thin plastic shell. All you lose is a bit of capacity.

So why don't they let you replace batteries? Planned obsolescence.

All the other devices you cite are also significantly larger than what fits on your wrist.

Border checkpoints within the actual border or international airports within the borders aren't "technically still outside the country". They're absolutely within the country. Could you imagine a group of scary-looking Muslims holding meetings in the "not in the US, yet" zone of LAX and the US letting it happen?

They're only "technically still outside the country" because they want to illegally fuck your rights.

You listed two choices, then mentioned three choices. Did you change your mind and remove the obvious and correct choice of the Constitution delineating the powers of the federal government (regardless of where it is acting or upon whom it is acting) while guaranteeing all other rights to the states and the people?

The Constitution applies within US borders, always. The Constitution applies to US citizens, always. If it is at odds with the law where a US citizen is, then treaties come into play as they are the only laws that are ranked as highly as the Constitution. The Constitution applies to what the federal government does, always and everywhere.

  24. Ren's force powers seem to be relatively weak. He doesn't demonstrate anything like the power that other trained users did, and none of the typical dark side stuff like lightning or force-choking. His light sabre is also pretty poor quality, unable to form a solid steady beam.

Did you miss the beginning of the movie? Lena Dunham's boyfriend is shown burninating a village like Trogdor while stopping blaster shots in the air. He was clearly shown as having the strongest force abilities ever seen in the series*.

Kylo Ren's Super Vader 2.0 EX+ Beta level of power was offset by his absolutely awful angsty bitch personality. His light saber isn't a reflection of his abilities. Fucking light sabers aren't force controlled. They're just machines that run on a crystal. He picked a shitty design because he's an unstable emo little bitch.

*Perhaps with the exception of Palpatine, since he was implied to have "Force Immaculate Conception"ed Anakin, "Force Lose The Will To Live"d Padme, and "Force Prevent Death"ed Anakin's torso, head, and remaining limb. And yes, all of these things are strongly implied. Palpatine's plan as we see it starts out by sending a lackey to grab a boy who was, according to his mother, conceived out of thin air. Palpatine then grooms Anakin and tells him about the dark side's powers over life and death itself. Then Palpatine demonstrates those powers when Padme dies for no fucking reason (according to the OBGYN droid) and Anakin is kept alive and remade Frankenstein-style (complete with a matching shot of his first steps). Finally, Palpatine finishes his plan by telling Anakin, "Oops, u killed Padme tho.", thus pushing Anakin fully over to the dark side. And yeah, Palpatine was behind Anakin's mother dying, wake up. He also had the ability to deceive the entire Jedi Council and weaken their connection to The Force.

In the original trilogy, the Empire is apparently concerned with quashing the Rebels. But the Emperor and Vader are far more concerned with Luke, just as the whole rigmarole in the prequels was a sideshow to Palpatine getting his new twink. Everything Palpatine did was for his apprentices. In the original trilogy, Vader is basically a cuck. The Emperor is his master, and he's being tasked with finding Luke to be the Emperor's new boytoy, and his own replacement.

The real plot of Star Wars has nothing to do trade blockades, politics, Death Stars, clone wars, or even the Empire. Those are just the background machinations of a Sith Lord getting a Force Boner for apprentices. Everything of importance in Star Wars up until the end of Episode 6 was orchestrated by the Emperor. He literally fucking tells us this. "Everything that has transpired has done so according to my design."
