    You can play exactly the same with the PC. You can use 58' plasma TV, super-duper stereo and if you fancy console controllers from your couch. (If you play simple games, when you start to play competitive online games, you need all the control you can get).

    The PC cost more? Sure, but so does every other top edge technology.

    You got owned by people with better hardware configuration? Guess what, for some, most of the fun comes from tweaking their system (you know, the geek fetish to tinker).

    Right now drivers have to cope with 4-5G. Abolish the limitations and you will need a PC to handle the 20G the car will be able to deliver.

    The Government provides a service - in this case, asking/forcing someone else to provide a service - and people are shocked that it will cost money? What kind of Communist paradise do these people live in where Government doesn't cost anything? Everybody wants services (public schools, Medicare, military, etc), nobody wants to pay taxes.

    I have 20/20 MB optic line in my house for 26E a month.

    My city has 10.000 inhabitants, so the price for fiber optic in a bigger environment should be even cheaper.

    If you allow HTTPS site you can't block SSH tunneling.

    And there are also VPN connections.

    I found that I get caught up in the computer and what I'm working on and forget to stop and eat. When I get really focused on my work I'll forget to stop and eat and when I'm playing a new game I may only eat once a day for the first weekend.

    Apart from it looking horrible, aliasing stairways are the antithesis to stability of an object. E.g. a bone with aliasing would be much less stable. And don’t even think about lying on it and not causing painful pressure points.
