  1. discriminates against the poor on Oregon Considers GPS-based Road Taxes · · Score: 2

Teenagers rarely by cars worth a damn, they are going to make these kids buy a piece of hardware worth more then their car?

And what about all the people in the state? Sure GPS units have gone down in price but they still aren't cheap. SO does that mean the State will give a voucher for the units to make it cheaper? No didn't think so.

This law will be defeated because it discriminates against the poor.

Thanks to the 1990s and the popularity of on line services the Internet has grown by leaps and bounds it would have never seen if only government and academia were using the resource.

We have companies all over the place marketing how easy it is to use computers and connect to the "WEB"

We now have a lot of people on the network that have no idea what they are doing on their own computer(well they do know how to look at porn pictures and download their AOL spam) basically the majority of Internet users are morons.

Couple this with stores like BestBuy, Circuit City, and and CompUSA selling things like broadband services and wireless networking pieces to people Who have no idea what going on and we have a problem. These people don't update their Windows for security. Microsoft can release all the services packs in the world but it will have no effect. People still think that personal computers are like their home DVD players, once it's out of the box and working you don't have to do anything else to it.

Do some war driving of your own and see how many home networks are completely open. What happens when someone with any intelligence starts using these open points to threaten the political leaders? What about all the DdoS attacks that can be started from these insecure points?

By placing a controller into the list of worst games made any merit to the article null and void. I believe that I am now a dumber human being by reading this.

There is an active movement to have gun manufacturers held responsible for crimes committed using their product. The pockets of the gun manufacturers are not as deep as the tobacco industry, This is why anti-gun organizations are looking to go after these companies in civil court. 17. My rant on New Jersey Enacts 'Smart Gun' Law · · Score: 2
First I would like to remind people that it is not the job of the police department to protect you and your family it is only there to enforce the laws of the United States government the US Supreme Court has said as much. Thus believing that your local police officers will come and save the day guns drawn to your defense is ridicules.

Second living in the inner city where police response time is lacking, having a gun that you might be able to unlock if given 10 minutes or praying that the gun recognizes you is to not that is needed.

Third "no technology is foolproof" this did not say that guns will crash like a Microsoft Windows operating system, this just means that it's unreliable. People advocating the use of gun locks and smart gun technology have been made to look foolish in public demonstrations as the locking system or ID system failed. So requiring this technology to be mandatory now before it is stable it just stupid.

Finally it always amazes me that people will not trust their fellow man, hell their own kid or spouse. If your afirad your wife is going to shoot you then why did you marry her if you don't trust her?? or do you think she's an idiot? And what about your kids? Well if there are guns in your house your kid might smoke pot and shoot his friend juggling it or something. oh yes it's not you or your family your afraid of it's everyone else. Stop being elitist you only think you're smarter then your neighbor.
