    GIF is not lossy, it "just" has a limit of 256 colors (Of course, the ending result is a lossy image, but the algorithm itself isn't lossy).

    Also, no need to use TIFF when PNG is already lossless.

    Justification? Win2k was a replacement for NT, not for Win98.

    And all the 9x/Me line sucked. You had to restart the computer three times a day to keep it at a relatively stable level.

    Which codec should we use for HTML5 video? The one that doesn't work in Opera/Firefox or the one that doesn't work in Safari/(future)IE9?

    Remember those times in which random strangers added you constantly as a friend in your IM client? It was so annoying, a lot of people (Acquaintances or not) added you to have conversations like this one:

    - Nothing really...

    - Browsing Slashdot.
    - oh

    Well, at some point those idiots disappeared from my IM client (WLM in my case) but, lo and behold, they're back in Facebook! Relatively cool people (or not really so much but who added you anyway) come up with that shit again! So, no. I don't want a Facebook IM on my cellphone. Just what I needed.... Getting annoyed on the road.
    I guess what I'm trying to say is those phones suck big time.

    There's a lot of issues with this. One of the worst things (from an "I don't give a shit about other's people lives" point of view) is that the army has denied how this whole thing happened. They outright lied.
    So it's not just a "Meh, people die in wars", it's plainly manipulating public opinions on the subject.
