I don't currently play wow, but I have played many MMO's.
Wouldn't more gold being easily obtainable result in more MUDflation and higher prices for everything?
25 quests at 10 min a pop is a little over 4 hours a day. That's a bit of time to sink.
You are right when you say: You need educated people to lead a revolution.
However, while you need educated people to lead, you usually need uneducated people to follow. And there are always more followers then leaders, or at least there should be!
There's even an entire show with ass in the title: Jackass.
By that logic there is a state with "ass" in it's name too: Massachusetts
The ass in Jackass is not the same kind of ass as the ass in benders shinny metal ass.
The implication is that it is more practical to focus on more power production then less energy consumption.

"Here's the thing, if I buy a PC to play DVD's, browse the Internet, etc, I can get something for $400-600 that does the job adequately. However, that system will not play games. If I want to play games I'm looking at a $1000-1500 box at a minimum"
Not always true. Seems a lot of people think you have to have the top of the line system to play video games. I've played Shadowbane, EQII, WOW and Vanguard all on a Crappy E-Machines with a 9800 Pro. So, we are talking about $600 for a machine that has lasted me about 6 years now.
Granted, I don't have the best graphics.. But then, my little e-machines with the 9800 pro handled 400 person + Banes on shadowbane better then my friends much much more expensive computers.
"since destroying content is much easier than creating"
In general, this is true. However, for those that have replied saying the typed up full articles jsut ot have it deleted. Just keep a copy in a text file on your comp and keep resubmitting it every time it get's deleted. should only take a few seconds to copy and paste it to Wikipedia every morning and then "you've won".
Provocation is provocation.
Certainly the Cylons can be viewed as over reacting. Even the Cylons "bombing the base he (allegedly) launched from" could be viewed as an over reaction.
As for you "Asshole" to shooting scenario. The person calling the guy an asshole certainly did provoke the man. Certainly any jury would convict, because it does not matter if he provoked him or not, as a society we deem that the reaction to the provocation was unbalanced.
But none the less, breaking a treaty is provocation just as calling someone an asshole is provocation.
Take it your not finished with the series. Else, you'd know that the humans sent a pilot over into the Cylons space that violated the treaty and provoked the attack.
"Then again, that's up to the DM to say "No, we only use THESE books. You're only allowed 4 magic items at a time from the MIC and no draconian ones... etc" not the publisher..."
People don't seem to get that. Just because a book is out there, does not mean you have to allow it in your game. And it's a good hint to the DM that if a player wont play because he cannot play broken combo X, that you don't want him in your group anyways.
you say
"Large corporations have not cared about the individual consumer over the all mighty dollar for decades. They care about the consumer and their employees only enough to be efficient on the bottom line"
They have never cared for the consumer over the all mighty dollar. IT was just easier to throw out propaganda that they cared before.
"Since all US laws are based on the Constitution, and the Supreme Court is ignoring it, I choose to ignore all the other God damned laws they write and to hell with them."

a competing vendor could sell cheaper product that is adequately substitutable
They can always record their own songs that are "adequately substitutable" to providing musical enjoyment.
Or that some could honestly feel that they are doing something "for the greater good"

lol, I love how they did that. Any show with Soldiers has to have causing to be even remotely believable.

Glad you realized that we need to focus on practical solutions to our power problem, and not just fantasize on how we'd like it to be.
HaHa, I so remember having to type in the 13th word on the 7th page of the manual for some old Sierra Games.

LMAO, This was hilarious.
Count me in the group that wanted this in text. My work blocks most video's and my comp has no speakers. :-(
Nah, It's probably better to ignore them. That will make them see things our way better then talking to them :-)
I'm sorry for you...

It might be an overreaction, but it certainly was not "unprovoked".

Best sig I've read all month. . .
Broken legs sound fair to me if you fail to pay back £10000
I would enjoy to read samzenpus's reply to the above post.
