"Dictionaries base their usage data on much broader sources than that."
I believe some documentary mentioned the news thing, they must of made a mistake.
It seems to me anyone that waits for a word to be official to use is just behind on the times as many people had to use it first for it to be noticed.
"Of course. And no "committee" made "irreplaceable" in preference to "unreplaceable". It was the "culture". You have it exactly backwards." That is exactly what i said/meant by the statement that it is aimed at.
I believe it is deduced by how often it occurs in the news.
Which while a moderately good measure is not a perfect measure of how most of us talk.
"Go ahead and make up your own rules."
But that is how languages evolve and are made in the first place. The Words that make it into the dictionary are not brand new word made up by some language committee but words that are already in the culture.
One could go as far as to say people unwilling to use non official words are just stunting cultural growth.
Either way languages will continue to change regardless of how many people decide to base their opinions of others on their vocabulary.
Well it seems pretty arbitrary to just allow some group of people to decide what strings of characters are words and which are not.
and irreplaceable really just make the language more complicated while the combining of the un prefix to the word just makes logical scene.
It is in many online dictionaries:
For example: http://www.thefreedictionary.com/unreplaceable
now it very well might be technically not a word, but I see no reason to care about that.
Well one could say every death is a tragedy but if their deaths were added to a daily total of accidental deaths and then compared to all other days it would not show any meaningful deviance from the norm.
I am sure someone could make a case for not donating as much blood as possible in a lifetime as being more "horrible" then a rocket crash with 100% casualties as the lack of blood killed more people then the crash.
Note: I do not know (blood donation)/(lives saved) stats but the general idea is still apt in my opinion if the object donated changes.
looked horrible on mine to.
Now not only will we have to worry about horrible colors and sizes but styles as well.
Not that this is a bad feature to have, but it will probably cause more bad then good.
But it is not that the law is is written vaguely, it is that the law clearly states (when you use the strict meanings of the words making up the law) that the minor must be engaged in "simulated sexual activity".
and wearing no cloths has never constituted "simulated sexual activity" in any stretch of the imagination.
I even used a xp 64-bit edition for a work comp on one of my jobs, no end of troubles.
the printer not working, oh i need special 64-bit drivers, works for a few days then never again.
installing 64-bit java, oh java phone emulation does not work with 64-bit java.
installing rim emulators, oh does not configure correctly because it is not in program files, but program files(x86).
The list goes on.
yes it works for all popular apps that have made sure they work in win 64-bit, but everything else fails in my experience.
that might be so, but when you are petty much dependent on 32-bit windows applications that do not work on any windows 64-bit edition....
I have installed xp 64-bit a few times, and could never get any of the apps i use to work on it, worst emulation ever.
and i could give you a long list of great ratings and best of lists that include it.
It is OK to not like a game, that other have said it a good game.
But you cannot just pretend that everyone agrees with you.
"On the series level, events may fall under Discontinuity because the show is perceived to suck at that point. Events also get "discontinued" for particularly screwing up the characters or setting"
CC is not considered a bad game, and unless it screws up some characters then according to your article Dis Continuity does not apply.
And besides a single fan cannot decide for everyone if CC is not part of the series, i have never heard of it not being considered not cannon, give me a link to a site featuring a large group of fans stating it should not be considered cannon and then you might have a case.
No, but what does one persons opinion matter when as far as i can tell the majority say it is a very good game and is officially a sequel to CT.
Maybe they should make another sequel to CT, that is more sequely, but that does not change the fact that technically their is already a sequel.
No one is trying it get hi off of red bull.
that is not to say small amounts could not make it less healthy of a drink and more addictive.
this is not a drug issue it is a heath issue, and moral if you believe it is wrong to secretly put highly addictive substances into food.

I am pretty sure the peer to peer nature of torrents, that require connections to multiple people to get good speed, makes multiple sockets mandatory.
I am 99% sure i have watched documentaries, 10 years ago, that had the same findings for actual cannibalism back then.
when i have 20-30 tabs normal it is because i am opening tones of links from 1 web page.
but it sounds similar to the windows grouping, which i hate, so not sure.
Note to the Mozilla devs: if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
Agreed, never had a problem with tabs, even 20-30 tabs at once.
Aza Raskin does not know what he is talking about.
