If you're having fun with it, that's great. But the suggestion that everyone who's enjoying guitar hero or rockband would be better served with a real guitar is missing the point of those games. And stating that messing around with a real guitar is inherently a more worthwhile activity than a video game is short-sighted as well.
A video game that gives a worse experience than the real thing. I expect from a video game to put me in situations I can not encounter in real life, like managing a city or killing motherfuckers. Not to repeat sequences of button presses on a plastic guitar.
In the mean time, I went the Randy Marsh way and went went for the real thing. I bought a 50 nylon string guitar, borrowed an el cheapo strat clone from a friend and an used amp from my brother.
I'm probably practicing less every day than the Guitar Hero player plays it's stupid toy, and in six months I'll be able to play a few songs in public. It's really rewarding, fun (it's called PLAYING an instrument for a reason) and teaches actual skills while maintaining other ones like mathematics, physics, dexterity, multitasking and such.
A guitar hero player only learns to repeat sequences with a useless joystick that they cannot reuse in real life (otherwise a musician geek would have done it already)
Meanwhile, HBO and Comedy central with their far left leaning show hosts are still readily available to my liberal european eyes (and they are funnier too)

Good movies will typically be migrated to new formats only when there are enough players available. Why would you release Star Wars TOT and sell 1m copies at 30$, then 20m copies at 15$ years later, when you can sell 21m copies at 30$ if you wait a few years ?

forget about Bangalore, all Belgium (market penetration 100+ %) is covered. Can't remember the link though.

Yeah, playing an instrument is something I want to do all my life all alone. Who would want to play music in a group ?

Let's hope they change their ways so that we wish them to join the EU.
A- means lack of. Anti- means opposition. An antitheist would believe in an antigod, or be against theism. An atheist just thinks there is no god.

Because your budget was inelastically scattered towards buying video cards.
what are you waiting for ?

Only tasteless people have gas barbecues. A bbq should be coal based.

500kton : metric, short or long ? Anyway, it's about 50 Hiroshimas (Hiroshima:Energy::LOC:Information)
Shouldn't they use nachos ?
Any person clever enough to install that plugin would be clever enough to use a real web browser to begin with.
Sorry, I meant micrometre
No, it's called a millimetre. From the french millimètre.
...and that's before you even tackle the fact that the plural of a nominative -us word is -i, not -ii.
aaagh. Stop acting like you're off to play the grand piano and are fluent in latin. There is no such word as "virii".
These go to 11!
