Oh caps suck eh? I thought the point of this article was the establish that as a fact? The thing is though that the article is theory, for a look at real application of this scenario just come to Canada. Up here in western Canada we've always been on caps. Yet what has that got us? For a while we had the world's highest broadband penetration, we as a whole are also a lot more active in file sharing. All this while our caps rise and prices go down, not too long ago Telus was even offering computers if you signed up for a three year contract. Sure our caps may be lower, but that has more to do with the fact that everyone uses a lot of bandwidth, heck the major ISPs even advertise that you can "Downlaod large files fast", "Download your favourite music quickly". Really what I'm trying to say is that caps themselves don't "suck", its your ISP that does.
I know your kidding but man I'd kill for a cap like that. Up here in western Canada most people have a 30-60Gig cap. Of course if you're with Shaw for ten extra bucks a month they'll double the up/down and raise the cap to 100 gigs but still, 250 gigs for entry level...
Now mind you a lot more people use torrents and the like up here. In fact both the major internet providers seam to incourage the practice.
Telus says things like: "Download huge files" "Play games and downlaod your favourite music quickly"
Shaw does the same: "Ideal for those who send a lot of email, download large files such as music or TV episodes," and "Download music in seconds and full-length movies in less than 10 minutes."
Every so often someone stops at my desk to ask what's wrong with my computer. They usually ask something along the lines of "What happened to your screensaver?", confused about even the name of the desktop background.
Sometimes when my laptop fails to properly resume after I bring it back from the screensaver it has a black wallpaper. So it possible that they have ran into this same problem before.
Really? I never had any of mine break, in fact my baby brother is still playing with them to this day. Well maybe not as much as I had, but you wouldn't know that from looking at his room.
Empires mod implemented something very much like that: http://www.empiresmod.com/ Fun game, haven't played it in a while though.

Oh, how do you figure that? I mean you have to admit, California produces a lot of fruit.
Well duh, when was the last time you bought a copy of your favourite Distro?
Oh yeah I remember that one.
That was the ep where they tested boxers Vs briefs if I remember right.
What on earth does id have to do with this? Is it going to ship with Doom or someting?
Yeah I just posted that a minute before you, sadly though now all it's mirroring is the page minus comic =(

You sure you`re thinking of the right BOFH? The one I know would do something more like this:
Backup nothing
lock Boss or some lusers in server room along with any old hardware
Go on Junket
Come back and blame mess on now dead Boss/Luser
Buy new hardware from whomever is willing to give the best kickback.
I don`t like the Sweden stuff myself, when I`m Hungary I just go for some Chile.
From my first link: `India does not have the concept of a single "national language".
Um, no: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Languages_of_India#Official_languages
Um, yeah: http://www.internet2.edu/
How ever is that supposed to work? Now the hotsprings have to worry about peeping toms from an even greater distance.
Ugh! That reminds me, I had a friend who's brother liked to pull out all the hands! All of them! To this day I'm still short hands.

I'm a Christian you insensitive-cold-hearted-clod!
So if someone does not profess to be a member of a faith they are really cold hearted bastards?
