Groupthink is biased on this issue. A lot of the folks here (myself included) didn't go to University, but still work tech jobs. We're proof that the OP is right; Degrees aren't the be-all, end-all. There are people in the world, large quantities of them, being passed over for jobs they're more than capable of doing, purely because they don't have a few letters after their name. It's not even worth them applying, as people like ergrthjuyt above simply throw the applications in the shredder.
So, even if the comprehension was a little off for that comment, it's because a lot of people here want to demonstrate the OP to be wrong.
Actually, that was two comments up and called "You are not alone..."
As for restore disks, I've never had one as I build my PCs. If I'm ever given one to repair a PC, I throw it away and give them a copy of the slipstreamed CD I make every month. They only ever have to get maybe 50MB of updates after that, and they seem more than happy. A second CD has the latest drivers.
Anybody who only used the armour mode on the nanosuit needs to reinstall the game and play through again. As a different class of player.
I love Crysis because it is at least three different FPS games rolled into one. You play in the standard armour mode, you head in, kill some bad guys, win the day. You play in stealth and pick off opponents from far away, then slip away into the shadows to attack from another position. You mix it up with speed and strength to charge in and beat the living hell out of something. I've never played a game with such dynamic alterations to gameplay without having to stop, quit, and change class. You're a HW Guy, a Sniper, and a Scout all at once.
If you've completed it and fancy some awesome God-like carnage, edit the ini file to make suit recharging almost instant, clips hold 999 ammo, and run speed twice as fast. Super sweet.
More than likely it's because people who play those games find your condescension repulsive and avoid you like they would a dog with rabies. It's the same reason none of the people I know go to the gym six times a week and drink protein milkshakes; I don't like those people, and choose not to associate with them. I find them vapid and narcissistic.
If you're having trouble with that concept, just put it down to "safety in numbers" and forget all about it. They're not missing out on much.
As a fully competent player who is let down by the fact that in order to join a raid I need to have gone before, the fake achievement link addon is getting installed as soon as I get home.
I swear, GearScore and achievement links have ruined end-game content for anyone who wasn't max-level within 3 months of LK coming out.
Give me full screen 2- or 4- player! If you can get 2-player now with 120Hz, do that! Stereographic 3D is a gimmick; 4 person full screen deathmatch is PURE AWESOME.
Seriously, if you can do 3D using two frames, make that other frame for another player. You could print money with that gaming technology.
I haven't seen any games released in the past year which required me to upgrade. They're all still DX10, they all still require less than 4GB RAM, they all still run fine on my C2Q Q6600. I haven't upgraded a single component in 3 years. There's nothing out there which made me want to.
You mean it becomes a race between which memory-leaking app can make the host OS collapse faster.
Remember, if the guest VM needs to swap, that's swapping from VM memory to VM HDD to Host memory to Host HDD, and back again. Something's gotta give...
But we're not clueless. If we buy the same hardware as Joe Sixpack, it's because the clueless guy got lucky and bought the same as what we wanted by accident.
I don't go on the internet and see big numbers and know that this is the part that I want. If I can't find the information I want about a chip or board within about 5 minutes of Google-fu, I'm not going to buy it. I'm also going to weigh up everything from the TDP to the board size to the component layout. Yes, I want to know how high the capacitors sit around the CPU socket, and I want to know if the graphics card will fit in my case. I want to know where the PCIe power sockets are to make sure the cables can be routed properly.
If, after all of this, the one I come to purchase is still the same one as the knuckle-dragger from K-Mart, then that's just great for him. Good chance it won't fit in his MicroATX case, though.

Perhaps a more scientific method of detection than "sniffing fire" would have had better results earlier on.

Nobody would click them.

I just checked the Concert page. They've not listed Machinae Supremacy either.
Why they should be on the concert list - The video is fan-made, and sucks.
Wiretapping networks is even easier. No specialist hardware required.
...
1. Attach laptop through patch lead to network
2. Start Wireshark
3.
You know how this ends.
You linked an achievement which requires work.
A better example would have been Shave and a Haircut
Yes, folks! You get an achievement for changing your hair style. Whisky Tango Foxtrot indeed.
I installed Privoxy. Doesn't matter which browser I use now.
