    So, you use passwords which are french, vulnerable to brute force / rainbow table attack, greater than 8 characters, with an integer < 99 appended? I'm pretty sure l0phtcrack has a mask for that, and with the length definitely over 8 the amount of words to crunch through is significantly reduced.

    Not paranoia, but best practice; I never use the maximum amount of characters for that reason. It's too obvious, and easy to brute force.

    Windows Vista / 7 has a gadget available called HashPass

    It appears that they also do Apple widgets and a Firefox Bookmarklet for the same purpose; Hashing password based on context and a keyword.

    That's great. You helped QA fibre and iSCSI equipment. That really helps Grandpa Joe with his Deskjet 1500 issues, doesn't it.

    It's not hipocracy, it's idiocy. Everyone knows server hardware gets a lot of testing. Many comments above mention names like "Novell" and "Red Hat" funding these projects for server hardware testing. If you'd have said you QA'd a Canon LiDE scanner, or a fucking USB wireless stick, I wouldn't be calling you a moron right now, because you would have read what this whole thread is about and not been a condescending ass and oblivious of the issues under discussion at the same time.

    If you're in a secure relationship, the correct answer is "Yes, they do."

    If she knows you well enough, and you know her, she knows you don't mean anything malicious and that you only wish for her to not be embarassed in front of her friends.

    I bought the "in-store" album too, for the artwork. It's the same reason why I bought all of their previous albums, too. AEnimas' artwork is fantastic.

    If I'd have said that earlier, we wouldn't have gotten the comments above. I'm all for moot debate, if it brings about enlightenment or progress.

    I mailed a cheque to the Merkin Vinyard in Arizona for the 10,000 Days album I downloaded.

    It was never cashed, but I feel good about it anyway.

    Had some lag issues, but they seem to resolve quickly when away from large concentrations of player characters (100+, typically).

    I think I might get a subscription. EVE is good, but hard work. Sometimes I just want to blast something for a laugh.
