    I've been hunting in three states, and buckshot was not legal to hunt deer with in any of them. Maybe the states I've hunted in are unusual, but I don't know any hunters who have used anything but shotgun with slugs or rifles to hunt deer.

    Even when I go to a 24 hr location that isn't packed, I get ridiculous ping times (why yes I have checked. This is ./). That wouldn't bother me but sometimes I like to work outside of the house and drop some cash at the nearest Starbucks, and I need a usable internet connection to do my work.
    Also fuck AT&T.

    It's price to some extent. However the fact that Samsung has had a larger presence in China for longer is pretty critical. Tim Cook doesn't seem very smart.

    Very much so. The geographic monopolies (and probably collusion) are killing broadband internet competition in the US. More Google access the better in my opinion

    I wouldn't mind seeing the lines government owned and then access leased out to ISPs for a price. Private ISPs should still be an option though. I don't want a BT-like situation where the government entity can dictate policy to private companies when it's unpopular and unconstitutional (ie ban on porn).

    What does peeve me, though, is when idiotic comparisons are made to countries like Latvia or Czech Republic, which are smaller than most US states and have comparatively much higher population density. There are only a few countries in the world that can really be compares to the US (Canada and Russia come to mind) because of a combination of size and total population. The internet subscription selection in the US sucks in most places and the telcos should owe the US govt about $200 billion from the ill-advised Telecommunications Act of 1996 (http://www.pbs.org/cringely/pulpit/2007/pulpit_20070810_002683.html), but the speeds are high where the population density is greater than one human per square mile.

    Don't do the following: 1) make shitty movies (overbroad but use the smell test) 2) Make sequels to shitty movies that might have barely made a profit 3) Make 18 superhero movies, reboot them, and complain when they flop 4) Don't let a fucking formula from a has-been screenwriter dictate the structure of every movie (http://www.stuff.co.nz/entertainment/film/8947871/The-origin-of-the-latest-Hollywood-formula) You can pay me now or later. I just want a 1% cut of all new movies.

    I saw this when I went to Mexico back in February. I wouldn't mind this at all. I'm not shocked at all it only took 12 years for the TSA to get out an RFI on a really fucking simple concept, one that isn't too difficult to implement.

    I don't really see them implementing it well, but that's another story. Small steps

    Try it. If you don't like it or it's too abusive, no one is forcing your hand. There are also a ton of projects out there with people who don't run their OSS develop like Linus. To be honest, you probably wouldn't be in a position to work on something that would get you yelled at for a good chunk of time. In their eyes you would be unblooded and inexperienced. You'd have to work you way into the kind of trust where one is given important stuff to work on. I mean you can obviously take their code and try to improve it on your own to resubmit, but that might not endear you to them as much as working your way up.

    I wasn't born in the 90s. Ocarina of Time came out in 1998. Most of the kids in the 90s wouldn't even had to have been old enough to know how to turn the 64 on.
