Disclaimer: I am not a doctor and this is not advice, but have you tried strengthening exercises?
I have to use a very poorly designed desk for computing (think of like an 70s-80s era penpusher desk - now with computer, keyboard, mouse, dual monitor). This has led to some issues, although, not ever as bad as you have described. Recently a friend lent me a gyroscope toy, thingy. Basically you spin it, it provides some resistance and which will gradually build strength in your arm/hand wrist.
I've found it to be really helpful - now I can type without pain and I can even do pushups again. YMMV.
it is rather easy to blame open source advocates isnt it? nameless faceless and seeminly ethicless people who sit in the dark all the time tapping away at console screens.
wake up and smell the coffee mate.
we dont have great big open source meetings where we all sit and decide how we are going to play with windows this month. we dont spend every waking minute thinking up new ways to waste bandwidth of certain companies. infact we tend to spend time doing useful things. also consider that if open source zealots did have such intentions and windows' track record with virii/exploits, would windows even exsist today?
if you must find somebody to blame and make it public, i suggest you follow the 3 obvious paths.
1: the actual perpetrators, no not the entire open source community(remember hackers create useful things. crackers attack soft targets. hackers are never crackers.). how this is done nobody cares, just find the actual 15 year old rejects that wrote the virus instead of sitting back taking potshots.
2: microsoft, because a; the only code they can produce is swiss cheese. b; because they fail to fix these problems before they are exploited on a mass scale.
3: yourselves. NOBODY has to use windows. NOBODY. if you choose the os that is swiss goddamn cheese, you also choose to get slapped in the face when some kid works out how to break it.
i will conclude by conceeding that you are however, partially correct. obviously somebody wants to directly attack sco, however that doesnt mean they represent the entire open source community nor even a portion of it. infact the perpetrator could never have used unix in his entire life, he could just be after whoever is making headlines. also consider that a worm that is designed to spread and then packet a server wouldnt nessecarily be designed to attack 1 server and 1 server only, sco could just be one target of many. this isnt the first worm of this sort we have seen and untill microsoft take it seriously(and that doesn't mean claim to doso) it will not be the last.
ps. although identified as so, my browser is not internet explorer(you have no idea how many sites shaft you for honesty thesedays).
So what happens when Microsoft buy this technology?
We will have computers that can invent adds and new trademarked gimmick selling lines to display at all parts of your house.
The technology is capable of spreading, without warning it is going to infect your washing machine, fridge, car and tv..
Befor you know it, uncle bill will dictate the way your coffee is made, and the way your pants and shirts are ironed..
Windows(glass panes in your house, not a dodgy os.) will no longer be transparent, with all the new advertisement campaigns and desktop themes, there simply wont be room for a VIEW any more..
The word bug will have new meaning. Gone will be the days of 'bug' meaning what windows has, when it manages to crosslink your files for no reason.
This is the new bug, this bug is being burnt to death in the shower because WINDOWS decided that your water temp should be several thousand degrees. This bug, burns your toast, kills your pets and worst of all, tapes the wrong program when you vainly try to set the video..
I belive that we should think, befor we unleash such power into the world...

I'm sure you could find a Windows version of a Bounce-themed game.
remove all warning labels and let natural selection do the work for us..
i haven't even had time to install 3.9 yet!

music pirates you!
..i am kinda slack..
pc world might need a name change..
this is nothing to do with world..
america is not the world(yet).
my ibm p202 blows every lcd ive ever seen out of the water - atleast for image quality
its really nice in games having an analouge zoom feature, just by leaning forward..
ive been playing it all day
..i hope they include more vehicles in the retail...perhaps mechanoids?!
:D
the engine is tweaked to the max, the guns are tweaked, the vehicles are cool..
also a nice touch is being able to re-define the links in onslaught..
i think they could possibly work the vehicles into some of the other game modes. at very least put some turrets in CTF

and dont forget... there could be an infinite number of stable universes out there...
stop releasing total junk software/music, and perhaps somebody out there will buy it eh?
