Any time there is any sort of competitive activity that has a decent size prize on the line, you will have people that get emotionally involved. As was mentioned before, the same sorts of things happen with just about any sport. Oh, but why don't you hear about football players pulling guns out after games? Because they make millions anyway. They have reputations to uphold and they don't want bad press. The kids playing in this video game tournament have none of that. They had very little besides morals to hold them back.
Put a bunch of people together to compete for cash with nothing to lose and crazy shit WILL happen.
So, in essense, we won because our attrocities outweighed their attrocities? We did in such a short time what they had done over a much longer period of time and so they realized that rape and pillage as they might, they just couldn't kill civilians as fast as we could?
That's a real sweet ending. We are clearly MUCH better than they are.
??? Lies? I don't know if you are suffering delusions, or are yourself ignorant, but American law has always dictated that "ignorance is no excuse". Anything that you do that is against the law could be (and often is) prosecuted whether you knew it was a crime or not.
You need to buy more games. I had been following NwN for something like 2 years before it was released. I got it the day it came out and I was simply very disapointed. Bioware really shot themselves in the foot by trying to move into 3D and doing it in a very ugly, clumsy way. There were so many little things, not so much "wrong" but just slightly "off", that kept me from really enjoying the game. I think if the Singgleplayer game was better I might have a better opinion, but that module sucks so hard I can't complain enough about it.
I don't understand whiny brats like yourself. No other company supports games as well as Blizzard. If you think that's different, you are either really stupid, or just a whiny little brat angry that you got banned.
They didn't actually implement any sort of anti-cheat. All they did was some sort of cheat detection, and closed accounts and banned some users and the CD keys of some repeat offenders. I know that not everyone who hacks in any of the games got caught (which is pretty logical) since THE VERY DAY blizzard posted the news, I ended up teaming up with a maphacker in Warcraft 3.
One of the blizzard reps did say on their website that they were in the process of trying to make the acount wipes happen more often. Hopefully that happens =/
I enjoy how you insult cheaters at the end of your post ("you're complaining about a bunch of 15 year olds cheating and using it as an excuse that you should") nary a few sentences after you yourself admit to cheating ("I never hacked except for MapHack").
I am just curious... Is all this cheating happening on the closed realm servers (which is supposed to be cheat-proof) or open battle.net (which is basically a free for all)?
If it's going on on open battle.net then I have no sympathies since you chose not to log in to the secure servers.
How can you mention zelda without thinking of THE SINGLE MOST IDENTIFIABLE/COOL SOUND that I have ever heard:
The sound that always plays when you unlock a secret or find a piece of tri-force. I don't know how to describe it other than I think it's seven notes in some minor key. Anyway, the sound has been with the game forever and I'm sure you know which one I'm talking about.
Is it just me or does this article reek of "we got paid to say something nice about N-Gage"? Really, this thing has almost NO redeeming qualities, and comparing it to the dreamcast is unfathomable.
What's wrong with it?
A) It costs 3x more than a GBA.
B) Can't use on planes.
C) You must remove the battery to change games.
Activision isn't suing Viacom because everything since TNG has sucked, they are suing because they made a decision to stop producing any more series or movies. Your (4 Insightful, why??) analogy is way off. The proper analogy would be if the athletic wear manufacturers sued Shaq or others because they decided to quit their sport in the middle of a long term advertising deal, which would be a fair and lucrative suit.
Also, please explain the concept of a loosing team. I am familiar with teams that lose games, and are hence labled 'losing teams'. Maybe the two terms are related?
Yay. Another undeducated nit-wit just frothing at the mouth to post. Go America!
Freecraft gives you the option of using Warcraft II artwork IF YOU OWN THE GAME. You can run a script and it will extract the artwork off of the CD. Otherwise, you have to download their rather bad looking art pack.
by letting you dress up the main character and obsess over his blood type. I bet they'll also make it so that you can collect various accessories to decorate your cars and houses.
Seriously, I WANT to see a game that will offend the Japanese.

Taken from here. It's also in the article. (RTFA)
That's no way to talk about your mother.
This thing just put millions of angst-ridden/depressed teenagers out of work.

Who dropped 2 A-Bombs, leveling entire cities and leaving radiation/fallout for many years to come?
If Bush is reelected, the system was obviously flawed.

Shouldn't that be: "uggh, I told you fuckers never to call me again! I demand to know on whose behalf are you calling!"?

LOL. Where are my mod points when I need them?

Perfectly logical.
Activision = one company
one company = single entity
single entity = singular
singular form of verb = is (not are)
Let me guess, you are stuck up nerd right?

Uhm, all wrong. That's just all there is to say.

If you're setting out to make, or deprive others of money, then I can't see how anyone can claim it's right.
If depriving others of money is wrong, then man, I don't want to be right.
