Speaking of the hardware side. Sun's disk arrays have always sucked until they purchased StorageTec.
StorageTec makes excellent SAN units as well as top of the line tape units. Hey, if it is good enough for the NSA to hold all of the worlds internet traffic, it should be good enough for any business.
I think the real jewel in the purchase of Sun is StorageTec.
I would have loved to take my nephew (who is 11) to the Watchmen.
Violence was not the issue, the blue schlong was the issue. For some reasons parents don't mind violence, but show one schlong or some boobies, and that makes the movie off limits.
I wonder if he plan on putting this on his resume?
Controlled Bot Net of over 250,000.

Social Security (Welfare for the retired) 21% Medicare (Welfare medical insurance for retired) 13.3% Unemployment/Welfare/Other mandatory entitlements 11.2% Medicaid (Welfare medical insurance for poor) 7.2% Global War on Terror 5% Health and Human Service 2.4%
So, depending on how you slice things. If you take Social Security and Medicare out of the mix, Defense is #1 in spending.
But if you leave those in there, Welfare accounts for about 54% of the US budget.
You can play the numbers any way you want to prove any point you want. But no matter how you slice it, welfare is far more than just 1% of the budget, unless you complete break down every category and isolate just welfare and only welfare and not include things like unemployment and Medicaid. (Which are forms of welfare)
Could you imagine Statler and Waldorf evaluating IBM products and software?
Now that would fun to see.
What we need to do is leverage the Muslim fanaticism.
Tell the Muslims that DRM is actually an affront on Ala.
Whenever a new DRM is introduced the Muslims will issue a fatwa/jihad against it, killing everyone at the company who introduced it.
Simpler way, tin foil.
Cover the GPS in enough of it and no more signal.
Just make sure to save enough tin foil to make a good hat to cover your head.
Good luck Amazon, as Al Capone found out, you can get away with murder, but you can't beat tax evasion.
Why when it comes to taxes you are guilty until you prove yourself innocent, and then you are still guilty anyway?
Anyone that runs is VC.
Anyone that stands still, is a well trained VC.
I wonder if they will allow you play this unattended?
Sony and Blizzard are always busting players for using bots, but this would be the perfect class.
Wouldn't even need bots, just log in and walk away. Check back every couple of days to see how many kills you have had, perfect!
This is a government conspiracy to win the hearts of PETA members to support the war.
It did come with a warning label:

As a former juror, we had to turn in our cell phones and media devices.
They were kept secure by the bailiff.
Judges finally had enough cell phones going off during the trial that they implemented that rule.
Makes sense, is a cell phone call really as important as changing someoneâ(TM)s life?
I have found online sex chats/video with foreign women as a good alternative for learning new languages.
That article description could easily be summed up as:
Hippie: "Down with the man!"
That's right. People should be required to enter their 1024-bit PGP key by hand every time they make a transaction.
If you make them type in their PGP key, they will just tape it to their phone like they do with their passwords under their keyboards.
So what are some other sites that the AG should try to take down for prostitution?
Purely for sake of argument of course. cough cough
Sam's Club will start offering pre-packaged EHR systems.

On the positive side, there are more Linux critics than Mac critics.
If you are critical of Linux, you are just berated.
If you are critical of Mac, you are mobbed, beaten, lynched and never allowed to buy a cappuccino again.

Pretty screwed up world we live in.
So that is why Oprah visited NASA, she wanted to go sky diving.

Anyone wonder if their target date for their full scale wormhole tests will be December 21, 2012?
We should come up with some kind of unified cheer, like: "Arrrrg me maties, dam the torpedoes, full speed ahead"
And whenever we see the advertisement, everyone in the theater shout out in unison, letting everyone know our great disdain.
What! You read TFA?
Your Slashdot account has been suspended.
I call bullshit on your bullshit.

Ya, but could you imagine getting into the simulation, things are going great, you are getting excited, and then, crash, BSOD.
Talk about a virtual blue balls.
