I'll have to ask how the fonts, formats and reviewing comments keep changing and/or disappearing going back and forth from my client (Office 2007) and our company (Office 2003). Certainly, it's less than 100% backward and forward compatible, which is all the screw-up needed in highly technical writing.
While I agree with the premise of NASA doing more basic research the privatization remark is a non sequitur. NASA has consistently had its funding slashed since the 60's. Increasing funding to allow them to do basic research should be the aim, not maintain a budget which doesn't allow them to perform their current appropriate and mandated missions.
To some degree perhaps, but the fact that there is so much documented language, etc. both spoken (video) and written has actually acted as a unifying factor in language--not a differentiating factor. So yes, language evolves, but cultural and linguistic isolation are less and less possible. So, we are all becoming more alike while while our languages merge. It's a fascinating paradox.
making FOSS more consumer friendly is not a bad thing. giving people freedom of choice the can understand versus paying for limited choice seems to be pretty good. who cares if it's just a web-based on downloadable interface for apt?
sweet! better memory *and* a weight loss treatment in one. :-P
That'd be why telecos are gearing up for big business including cellular banking in Africa http://www.csmonitor.com/2005/0826/p07s01-woaf.html.
You're confusing the seizure of power by the colonial elites from the King of England with with something more noble.
This isn't hard core number crunching or anything, but why does it take an econ PhD to figure out something's wrong with the criminal justice system?
Holy sh!t. So 1 of every 10 cases in Maryland should result in malpractice suit? That's a stunningly low quality of lawyers in this PhD's sample.

Wow! I had no idea Central Michigan's program was so well regarded. ;-)
At first I thought this was going to be a haiku response to the topic. Oh well.
Typo in my post. I meant "appropriated", not "appropriate". I'm not trying to make value judgments on what missions NASA should and shouldn't do.

This is well known and documented already. Knowing about reality can be a real downer http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Depressive_realism.
Skadoosh.
if that's the only disease that went back in that direction... I think the native american got the short end of the stick... so to speak.
doubtful... the market is too big, apparently.
Brilliant people *get* the money from other people. Big difference in terms of ethics and salesmanship.
Never done or always in beta,... that is the question. Probably the answer, too, since continual improvement (or so it's said) is a good thing.

are here to *Pump* you up!!
Really mods? Troll? Not your sense of humor I guess, so mod me off-topic. Pretty sure I'm not picking a fight with anyone but myself, though.
Otto Pilot was definitely hackable, too. Though physical access would then be required.
Alright, I'm an idiot, but I first read OSS as a co-pilot and thought we were replacing someone in the cockpit with something hackable.
The fact that the company is named "Newsham Genetics" may be a hint on if to believe.
"No one cares about open sores software exact Nazis, Communists and pedophiles or any combination thereof."
Um... I care about open sores. I don't want them.
Troll, seriously? So hard to tell when kdawson bashing is in vogue or not. Oh well.
