Isn't the numbering scheme supposed to denote the approximate P4 clock rate the chip is equal to? If that's true then I'll skip the 2200 and go for the 2.53 ghz P4 on the 533mhz frontside bus. That is of course, if i had the $500 to drop for it. Now alls I want is for all those neat technologies we've been hearing about in regard to the P4 architecture to really take off. Hyperthreading and such.
My school district would never consider anything like this. We have a gaming cafe with decent rigs though. It's mad expensive, but the "leet hacksors" never pay anyway. It uses a system called Netimo for the fare and it crashes constantly. It used to be open 24/7 but the owner closes it on sunday now. Lots of violent matches get played every night, and a couple fist fights have broken out. Idiots. A lot of people go there, I've even seen some old people there. They always weird me out, but they leave when they realize the most common shouted phrase is "YOU CAMPING FAG, EAT A DICK." It is pretty social overall. Sorry for being off topic, but I meant to say that even the most violent games can bring kids together, I'm glad a school system realizes that and encourages it.
but in the article it mentions that lucas is developing the star wars galaxies game for sony, too. i wonder if an Xbox user can play with a PS2 user. hmmm, oh well, i own neither.
It's interesting to consider that one island's cultural icon, appearing on everything from school bags to shot glasses, is another island's uber-pest. The coqui's call is measured at roughly 90 decibels. It's driven people out of hotels, including the Ritz-Carlton. At one point, a hotel was offering a $75 bounty per frog... dead or alive.
I still think the neatest and prettiest thing for the amount of work required is creating plasmoids/ball lightning in your microwave using a cork, a toothpick, 3 bottle caps, and a glass light globe. Oh, and you need a microwave, too. Then of course, there is always the classic of putting a CD in a microwave. Oooh, sparkly.
Google just has a lot of kickass features than Teoma doesn't have. USENet back to 1980, built in translation for certain languages, cacheing, etc. If Teoma wants to compete, it's going to have to match or beat those features. Maybe even translate all those DAMN pages in Japanese i've been trying to get to. Ploos yoo can poot Google-a in Bork. Bork bork bork!
Wouldn't it be cool if there's like one guy somewhere who's DNA rips out some funky techno beats? Probably Oakenfold or BT, if anyone. Who knows, maybe we'll get a KDNA or WDNA radio station eventually.
No wonder Microsoft makes you feel boxed in. It ties you to an inflexible system. It requires you to pay for expensive experts. It makes you struggle daily with a server environment that's more complex than ever.
would be to work for a company that supports the GPL and open-source development. Of course, finding a company like that that actually makes enough money to still pay you might be extremely rare. Unless the company went public and has several million sitting in a bank account, it might be easier. *cough* red hat *cough*
Could this be the beginning of a new era? Oracle is one of those companies that although the bulk of the nation's populace ignores (or doesn't even know about), no one can deny their importance or influence. With the new National Security crap going on, Oracle is offering the software for it. Hurrah.
if you could route the laser back to the combustion chamber, you could use it in turn to burn extra fuel (similar to the way nos affects combustion). the increased fuel being burned would create more exhaust. wash, rinse, repeat until nearly 100% of the fuel in the chamber is being burned and the car reaches maximum feasible efficiency. probably not all that feasible though, since routing lasers is expensive at best.
Kinda limits the overall usefullness. Liquid cooling is generally the thing for overclockers, but if you're overclocking, it's probably going to be more than 1ghz. And if it's not, would you really want to spend upwards of $200 for a case for it?
It's a good idea, but they need to get it to the real speed ranges. Especially with 2.5+ ghz on the way. Copper heatsinks still seem to be the way to go right now. And lots of fans, sadly. (Clearing box for takeoff, engaging primary propulsion units.)

HELL no
yeah that's what i figured too. but i started at 1226 in the queue and as of now (like 24 hours later, give or take) i am currently... 1226.
Right now I would just be happy if Project-Entropia would give me a damn account.

First, kill all the lawyers.

OK guys, here's the clue. In order to be able to use them, we have to be able to decrypt them. If we can decrypt them, we can rip them.

This is WDNA, all biotech, all the time.

That sounds a little more appropriate to me.

'Some feminists even say artificial wombs mean men could eliminate women from the planet and still perpetuate our species.
Well, that would mean giving up sex too, and I guarantee that will never happen. Sex=Good
http://www.nba.nbi.dk all linked up and pretty.
I want to get that in e-book so i can read on my wearables when i make the first weara... damn.
How is the TV Geek from Beat The Geeks going to catch up?

what's all this 1c malarky? nyse.com and nasdaq.com both list Amazon.com, Inc. AMZN at $12.60 per share. it hasn't been under $1 since Q3 1997.
