It's not like it would be the first time, youtuber Ally Law went up there last February with a group of people and a drone. They caused the bridge to be shutdown as a result too though. Video can be found on his youtube channel though. Definitely a sweaty palm sorta video though

Sure it is! the ability to play a small number of old console games on one program is a totally new idea in uncharted waters. How is this modded flamebait? I'm so sick and tired of reading poorly mislabeled slashdot stories that tout around the title "CELL PHONE" when the stories usually only relate to a singular brand of phone, or limited range. Not everyone owns a Blackberry, and not everyone owns the iPhone (which is supposed to be next on the list of phones with enough crap inside to support this app).

Slashdot needs to get its shit straight on these stories, I always feel very misled reading cell phone articles.

The closest we've come to something like Chernobyl was Three Mile Island (not far from me), and they were prepared (unlike the commies) and controlled the situation before things got critical. These plants have now been around for while, we know what we're doing, let's get more of them up. It's cheap energy, it's safe energy, and while it be limited like oil, we haven't used up these resources yet like oil, so let's get started on them.

I'm curious as to whether or not I should wait to upgrade my Tiger to Leopard, or just wait a year for Snow to come out and just upgrade to that. Though, I dunno that I'll really have a terrible need for SnowLeopard given that I have a first generation Macbook...not even a Pro=\.

I'm kinda surprised though to see a new OS release so soon from the original Leopard...Like they said, it's no major jump...I guess saying it's like Windows 98 to Windows 2000...as opposed to XP to Vista. But why am I making Windows analogies in a Mac story? Please don't hurt me!

I'm also curious as to what the price point will be for its release, and if its release will bring a price drop to the original Leopard making it more enticing to people who haven't made the changeover yet.

While I realize the likelihood of a law such as this would be difficult to pass in the US, you know there's going to be a "monkey see, monkey do" attitude and there will probably be a bit more of a stronger force trying to push similar bills through Congress.

Yeah but the thing is, with an account where I can't accept these transactions, people are still ABLE to attempt them.

It's very frustrating to cancel a transaction, send an email to the person telling them I can't accept it and to send me the money through their checking account instead. It's a process that shouldn't have to happen. If I don't have the business premier account or whatever it's called, then people shouldn't be able to initiate a credit card transaction.

I can't stand paypal. I've had an account since the earlier days before there really were options, though I so rarely use it because without PAYING for an account, I can only transfer money through a direct bank transfer. On EVERY ONE of my ebay listings I have to add a footnote alerting people that they can't pay with a credit card through paypal because paypal won't allow me to do that...

And the only way to be able to do that is to sign up for an account where they take a percentage of all of my transactions.

How does that commercial go? "It's my money and I want it now!"
But seriously, I'm tired of paypal, I just wish it would go the way of the dinosaurs because it's such a frustrating site to use to transfer funds.
