Yes of course, if we are speaking of cheapest. That doesn't mean there won't be faster and better available...I mean, right now portable storage is less that USD0.10/Gig - and dropping daily it seems. Anyway, not so simple a proposition as nothing new until 2020.

and last, but not least The United States of America...
don't have any secret nuclear programs. Makes you wonder how they all do the research necessary to improve the actual, real, nuclear weapons they posses without everyone being aware of the fact.
Cost of light bulbs? How about the climbing up into the rafters to replace a bulb? How about having to search all over the house for a bulb when one (always unexpectedly) blows out? How about handling bulbs at all? Ever had one separate in your hand? have to get the needlenose to get the rest out?
etc etc etc - now if i don't have to do any of that for 19 years!!! Yes!
...truly hard to imagine that such a situation unchecked would have continued for, say, a decade....
Yeah - I would say that it is hard to imagine any situation in the world of tech continuing for a decade. That is the problem. The narrowly focused (money money money) corporate world view doesn't allow them to see the obvious fact that things change fast in our world, and the old money grubbing ways (law suites, patents, copyright etc) are not necessarily the best ways now.
Greed is so old fasioned.
Try 64K! The first Mac had 64K in a sealed box that had to be cut open to add another 64K...
640K was the DOS limit, and the whole reason for Intel's EMS.
Oh I see. I am to do your diagnostic work for free also. Quit whining. When a person comes for help they should know how to ask for it. Also, I guess everything is babble to one who doesn't speak the language.
The assumption is that the powers that be want to stop anything! I mean, just for example, do you have any idea how much un-reported, un-taxed cash the drug war inserts into the economy of the United States? How much dinero is laundered through the US Stock Exchange? What percentage of the total cash flow of Texas and Florida are due to the Drug War? Do you really think that those people care about Mexican poor folks? Look at what they have just done to US Poor! Oh well... "Free Market Economy"
Yes, but the intense problem with junkies gathering together to argue the fine points of law - Legalization vs Decriminalization - has caused traffic jams in some areas...
May be one of the Gray Ones... they tend to be background creeps with power. No one in the states knows this guy. He is like Wolfowicz (sp?)
and Cheny in the US - Perhaps the actual power, since it doesn't seem to matter who is elected, these guts are always there (...creepy music...)
Really! and you can tell the objectivity of the law here...'Gary Kaplan made millions of dollars by making it too easy for people to gamble away their hard-earned money'.
Couldn't they have been winning some easily earned money?
...and how did he force those poor Americans to give up their lunch money so easily? Must be a real net wizard able to control peoples actions by tcp!
No military rationale? The country that controls the moon controls the earth! Suppose some country places a dozen 100MT missiles on the moon. Who would dare to say no to that country? Combine that with the 1 Trillion USD military budget (most of which is secret)... lack of funds ? pfftt
The truth is that this is the end of the peaceful use of space.

charge for HULU? Is this a joke? It is free now and after trying once or twice - I never go there.
I wonder how often i'll visit when they start charging?
"new regulations could hinder the development of the Internet" ...I wonder what has hindered it up until now?
Let's hope we outgrow this childish behavior soon.
Yes ... at least we know that:

Hmmmmmmm...
use ntfsresize to resize the partition containing windoze.
install linux in remaining space with dual boot
hide dual boot - with doze as the default.
This may not work but represents less that a minute of thought. What could a determined HS student come up with in 4 years?
Uh oh - There are pigs in the china shop...
not sure which is the really scary one - but that is the whole idea isn't it?

2. What developer in their right mind would write apps for the freaking iPhone?
Gosh, I guess we have to accept that Apple is not that different from M$. Wolf in sheep's clothing...
but 87% of those are apple fanboys who are satisfied to just drool...

The beginning of the end for the USA as a first world country - get ready for rice and beans!
