    I feel compelled to defend both Deborah Gibson and Tiffany. Deborah has put out several INDEPENDENT CD's and has a successful theater career. Tiffany's "Color Of Silence" album was a critical, if not commercial, success. Both don't have a chance in hell of being played on mainstream radio tho.

    You are right...most of us are unimportant to the goverment, but what about those who are not? Our goverment has never been shy about using the resources at hand for personal or political gain.

    I respectfully disagree. I have no doubt in my mind that this situation (or something similar) was exactly what Bin Laden wants. The spies in this case are unwittingly helping the terrorists.

    How on earth can it perform that badly? I've got an old AMD K6-2 500 that doesn't have any problems playing DivX.

    I don't know how the Wal-Mart PC's perform but I have a mobo with the Nvidia N-Force chipset that has an intergrated GF2MX. It's sharing 32 MB of the system ram and I don't have the slightest problem with video.

    I'd say because its an item I've never heard of and I'd say a fair portion of Slashdot's readers are intertested in emulators and this product would help them transfer their old software to their PC.

    That was the lowest difficulty level. The highest "3" had an additional castle, 2 hidden mazes, the bat which had an annoying habit of taking items you needed and all the items were randomly placed throughout.

    Who says they need national exposure? Hell, here in Portland there are tons of local bands (and soloists) that do quite well touring and hitting the local hot spots. Being a successful musician does not always equate to a video on MTV.
