    Twitch recently changed and allows you to upload videos for on demand viewing. Also for a secluded playlist at a certain time.

  5. Yep. Run ad blockers on a real browser. FF or Chrome. Or for the non technical look at the Brave browser. It has blockers from the EFF built in. This is what I shifted my parents onto. It dropped my required tech help by 90%. Avoid the black boxes (Apple TV, Roku) and their apps. Because of no ad blockers available. You can run Brave on android phone/pad to chromecast and have ad blockers.

    I just replaced my 4s which is 7 years old. Because my CC company, Bank and Broker killed app support for ios9. So no more 2FA. I went with a Moto e4 for $130 unlocked, removable battery and up to 128GB SD card slot. You can buy a new sub $150 phone every year and still save $ over flagships and OS/hardware planned obsolescence.

    Moto e4 for Verizon Prepaid at Walmart for $40 and a $4 unlock code from ebay. I just turned on one with AT&T. Search on youtube for how to. The other network prepaid versions of the e4 do not have the fingerprint scanner. Amazon sells a lock screen ad version for $99 and $130 clean unlocked one.

    Which Samsung phone? I’m looking at a cheap smartphone when traveling overseas and Samsung phones can be found pretty cheaply.

    In French/Spanish Colonial Louisiana. Your home was taxed on the number of doorways in the home. The larger the home the more rooms and doors needed. Closets were never built into homes as it counted and taxed as a room. So they had a furniture called Chiffarobe, Wardrobe, Chiffonier and Armoire to store clothes.

    Just let me *gasp* buy a valid Windows 7 key for $20 each (I don't even need a stupid USB nor DVD) and I'll immediately buy 6 copies just so I can stop with the shenanigans of deleting the WPA registry setting just to run indefinitely on my spare machines and VMs.

    You do not really need a keyboard every day. Once you have your bookmarks saved. For a mouse use the wireless Logitech M570 trackball. That way you do not need a mouse pad or table top. I just use the arm of a recliner. I have 3 trackballs on 3 HTPCs in different rooms. One cheep $20 Logitech wireless keyboard for all HTPCs. Use the Chrome password manager and create one Google account for all of the HTPCs then logins and cookies flow to every room. Very easy to use and the PC browser ad blocker are worth the extra money for the equipment.

Hulu can burn in hell with the paid ads. I have been voting with my wallet since 2010 and have taken $110 a month out of the bottom line of Cox.

    Netflix, Prime, YouTube, NASA TV, PBS website, Twitch and a SilconDust Homerun for OTA TV on my wifi network. Cheap used PCs turned into HTPCs on every TV. Cut the cord in 2010. TBH Hulu can SMD. I will not watch ads anymore.

    I have HTPCs on every TV (3 in total). If you watch local sports the OTA broadcast are MUCH higher quality than the cable company's compressed crap.The HDHomerun is great it has 2 turners. So 2 TVs can watch or 1 TV and recording. My cheapest cable package is $48/mo. No question a deal for me.
