8gb is holding the OS so you don't have the whole 8gb. Apps aren't exactly small these days and neither is my music collection. I have an old 8gb ipod touch and even when it was new it felt absolutely tiny. I think Max Payne alone was nearly 2gb is size.
That may be true but earning less than a PHP developer for doing Java is insulting no matter how you look at it especially when PHP developers consitently earn less than pretty much every native born Java programmer.
I think it varies a lot. Some people probably do genuinely need good people and therefore it is about skills and they pay for it to ensure they retain you. But I've seen Java developers getting paid only a couple thousand more than people I know who work in a stores room packing things to ship off somewhere.
That's the problem. We don't necessarily need more visas. The ones we have need to go to those who actually need them.
Because I see nothing in reality that proves it. I can't trust getting change from anyone any more. Even dead easy math seems to be over many people's heads. Then there are the morons behind the wheel, the Romney voters, the Hoey boo boo fans. Perhaps there are enough people pulling the average way up but the world is chock full of retards.
These are people that have no problem calling their fellow man Faggot McNigger. My guess is they want to get rid of brown people. Xbox doesn't attract the most sophisticated people.
No, I mean the security (not the ps3 itself) has served it purpose by making it take this long for them to reach this point. Had people broke the security straight away that would be bad for sony but it took them a few years to reach their first break through and 6 years to get to this point. This will help a lot of people that want to do other things with their PS3 which is a good thing. But the ps3 also won't have the rampant piracy the psx had just because of this. Everyone will be moving on within a year or two I suspect.
What a shame people couldn't look at cat pictures for a few hours. Apparently they forget the days when was far more common for sites to be down for days.
The problem was that they tried to make a unified OS and the end result was windows mobile was butt ugly and broken. You can assume Appl just got lucky but comparing the iphone to a blackberry and Windows mobile and it's not hard to see why it was so appealing and even Android was going down the route of being a blackberry clone until someone used their board room access to borrow some ideas.
I have to say, at least with price fixing, it would be possible for something to attempt to compete with Amazon. Now they can't and there is no reason for Amazon to improve their tactics. Price fixing isn't ideal but rather than just fixing that, they should have got rid of the price fixing while at the same time enforcing open formats so people can leave kindle whenever they want or buy books anywhere without worrying about compatibility.
Windows 8 is down right appauling and even Windows 7 and that lame ass UAC crap gets in the way too often. Why should Vim, for example, be locked from using folders in it's own directory just because I'm not running as administrator? Microsoft has to realise that they got their way and locked people into their systems. Unfortunately they screwed up and locked them into specific versions and they're scared that the situtation will reach a point where any option is viable and therefore they are excluded.
That's why we've got VB6 in Windows 8. There is no other reason other than by not doing that people are left having to build from scratch and there are far better non-Microsoft solutions out there.
That stuff should be standard so the OS doesn't matter anyway. Why should I need a specific OS to join a domain? Even productivity software should be using open formats to avoid tying yourself to one bit of software. I realise the world generally doesn't work this way but BYOD device is more likely to bring that on than just sticking with what we had before.
Generally the content can be better when there is a bit of time to prepare for the story. The biggest problem with internet news reporting is everyone is blowing their wad to be the first, you get a lot of innacuracy and general poor quality. The thing I don't like the most though is when they rush, report something completely wrong and then just prepend an update at the bottom which a lot of people won't see anyway making it pointless.
That and it's the other stuff like opinion pieces and analysis that can make a difference.
That is the name the screen's manufactuer gave it. Which does also mean Google didn't make up to be fair.

Can't they find new ways to create hype? The should have seen through this and just smashed it and put it in the bin.

Better to be an asshole than a bunch of criminals. http://www.nytimes.com/2009/12/30/business/global/30samsung.html?n=Top%2FReference%2FTimes%20Topics%2FSubjects%2FP%2FPresidents%20and%20Presidency%20(US)%2FPardons&_r=0
I sense a butt hurt windows fanboy is in here.

There must something to it given that the EU and South Korea are also investigating Samsung.
So what does that mean that the European Commision and South Korea (samsung's homeland) are also investigating samsung over this?

The PS3 is nearing the end of its life and it's taken 6 years to do it so it's served its purpose.

But windows server has a GUI for everything. There's no need to program when you've picked what is obivously the best server in the whole universe.
He still needs to accept some responsibility for this turd.

Even if I were given a free chromebook I would not use it. There is no hole in the market that this item fills.

Sounds like the system is broke then.
Sounds like they didn't get time to prepare the astroturfers to be able to tell us how great this is.
Seriously, a web only laptop is about as useful as getting AIDS. Some of us who commute have jobs that rely on more than facebook and gmail.
