If it is so beta that it just doesn't work then don't release it. So far any "beta" from Google has atleast been polished and worked well. This simply does not. And some of the issues aren't a "is it beta" or not question, like the DRM.
So please, I love Google to, but drop the "its beta crap". They are a corporation that is taking your/my money. I want quality products. This simply isn't.

The DS is simply a great gaming system. It doesn't try and be everything to everyone. It just does its job wonderfully. If you are looking to find people to play on the WiFi games be sure to try out WiTenDoFi.com. It is a really great way to quickly find people to play and more.
I personally really like my Motoral v265. It has all the basic features I need. Decent battery life if you don't use the camera (which I don't). Built in speach rec so I can dial by name without teaching it names and solid reception (I live in Western Kansas, this is a REAL issue for me).
It doesn't play mp3s. It has no preloaded games. It does the job. I don't see myself getting rid of it any time soon.

You do realize they are way past just tracking you in those cases right? Every pagges that loads a Google ad tells them where you are. Any site uses Analytics tells them were you are. They are WAY past just gmail and google search...way past.
In fact...I dare you to click the link in my sig...they will track it.
I am not sure how you got that out of my previous statement. For this holiday season I am playing Mario Kart and Animal Crossing. Before those there are MANY games I have enjoyed on my DS. If you want a list I can name a few for you...

I had this thing working in under 10 minutes. I like. I will be expanding this. The timing was perfect, I actually started on a Konfabulator widget for this just last night!
Please note that this "laptop" is NOT intended for travelling with. It is meant for taking to your friends for a LAN party or to the local Pro Gamer get together. It is probably easier to lug this thing in a Messenger Bag than an XPC + 17" LCD. So...before you say "IT IS BIGGER THAN MY DOGGGG!" please realize its purpose.
