    For cleaning vegetables anyway, a mild vinegar solution killed more bacteria on the surface of vegetables than did soap.

    It also tastes a lot better.

    Kids are going to pull the thing apart, whether it was intended to be done or not.
    Kids being able to put the thing back together again in a working state shows that thought has been given to the design to make it kid-proof (or at least kid-resistant.)

    Rarely if ever needed anymore.

    The Vista Hardware Compatibility List claims to need IE6 or later; apart from some minor rendering issues, it worked fine with spoofed Firefox. (What kind of moron would make a list IE-only, anyway??)

    A true GPS position broadcasting system would eliminate the need for a ground radar.

    Call me old-fashioned, but I'd prefer Mode S with a ground radar. Without some form of ground truth to confirm the GPS broadcasts, what's to prevent spoofing of signals (triggering false collision warnings etc.) by "terrorists"?
