I absolutely adore interactive fiction. It's good to see 2nd person get some attention for a change. It's by far the least used narrative style of the 3.
Maybe I'm just jaded, but there are very, very few examples of edutainment that kids actually like playing. When I was young, Zoombinis was great to play at school, but that was about it.
I think a lot of people are still uncomfortable with the concept of paying for games/music/etc without having anything physical to show for it. Especially late adopters [like me].
I came in here thinking this was about Star Trek, it was even tagged as such.
Oh well.
Not many people will be able to afford such high end PCs. I myself can't, that's for sure.
Kids are likely to ignore these messages, just like they ignore their parents.
Oh, don't take it so seriously. 666 is just a number like any other.
Yes, but think of the vast, vast differences in cost.
No pun intended, it's astronomically different.
That's it's more like Doom 2!! So many WADs, such a long lifespan.
It's always nice to see some people, at the very least, are willing to embrace green ideas.

Of all the animes in the world, why did it have to be this?
Woo hoo!!
ASCII art is still so great, especially on forums and such where it's too much hassle [or you aren't allowed] to post images.
It's good and all to look at the stars, but when is mankind ever going to reach them?
Well, video games should be used to persecution by now, right folks?
Not like I was around to witness the downtime. Some of us do have lives [I should hope].
No, really. I don't even remember when I did it last.
I live in New Zealand, which has 1 of the slowest internet speeds overall in the entire OECD.
And boy, does this is impact on me. I still find myself stopping pages from loading all the time due to not being able to wait.
The majority of avatars are cases of wishful thinking.
Really, really wishful thinking.
In spite of the hype [or possibly due to], I think a lot of gamers will be disappointed when this comes out.
You'd swear 30 years would've killed spam off. But it just gets worse and worse.

It'll be good, but not overly comical, nor dramatic. A nice blend of genres.
To be fair, I disapprove more with the use of VG as a recuitment tool, ala America's Army. Training purposes isn't as socially irresponsible.
Thank goodness we recovered, and became the fine species we are today.
Not.
Usually what I get are just suggestions not to go on sensitive sites [like banking] while out and about. That's the safest, I suppose.

Frankly, if the price is right [as in free, or cheap], why not go open?
Also open allows for projects that traditional developers would never touch.
How about just no more VG movies, period.
Yes please.
