I tried a bunch last week, and MusicBee is the one that most closely matches my winamp usage patterns, so it's what I'm using at the moment. It's pretty good.
If F-Droid want to actually make an impact on the Android userbase, the home page needs to have instructions on how to install the damn thing! I know what I'm doing, but most people just install stuff from google play. If they follow this link and click the "install" link, they get an apk download and no help. This is not very useful.
How? If you're using IE and it isn't getting patches, fair enough. But if you're using a modern, patched, browser, then how does the OS security actually matter anyway?
p is any of the primes, x is the result of multiplying all the other primes in the list. If px+1 was divisible by p, then px+1 = py, for some whole number y dividing by p, y = x + 1/p. This cannot be a whole number as p >= 2 and x is a whole number.
I'm sure there's a better proof, but that's just off the top of my head.
He said that most criminals have guns, even in countries where gun possession is highly restricted. The UK is a country where gun possession is highly restricted Gun possession by criminals in the UK is pretty low Therefore his assertion was wrong.
The GP made a statement of fact that was false. I corrected him. At no point did I argue for gun control, or state that violent crime is higher or lower in either country.
BT already gives all customers a home hub (router) as part of the deal, this is pretty standard in the uk. They upgrade them every couple of years for you, so going to an IPv6-enabled one is not difficult.
So far it's proven to be more trustworthy than most government-issued currencies. This is the first real threat to trust.
And pay for a VPN to hide your IP when trading in Bitcoins.
Come on slashdot, get the guy's name right.
There is some truth to it? Hell, everyone did that when I was a kid in the 80s. Still didn't catch the damn thing until I was 16 though.

In the UK it's "spring forward, autumn back"
There's an app for that, although it works on a time delay rather than a button press.

Vegetarianism is a rather new fad
There are recorded vegetarian movements in ancient greece, so it's not that new. And please try to avoid deliberately dismissive terms like fad.
Not if you configure your ripping software properly. That's what the accurate rip database is for, after all.

No, it's tangentially related. My point was that he stated a factual inaccuracy, and I was pulling him up on it.
He said that most criminals have guns, even in countries where gun possession is highly restricted.

Gun possession by criminals in the UK is pretty low
Therefore his assertion was wrong.

I don't recall where I said it was.
No, it's because the penalty for owning an illegal firearm is significantly more than the penalty for many violent crimes.
You don't seem to be disagreeing with me.
As long as we cannot prevent criminals from having guns (most do, even in countries where gun possession is highly restricted),
Simply not true - gun ownership among criminals in the uk is pretty low.
Yet they have more violent crime per-capita than we do in the US.
That may or may not be true, but isn't directly related to my point really, is it?

'cos opting in is so hard - pop into the shop, ask them to opt you in. Takes 5 minutes. I only did it because the filter was blocking some web comics.
Alternatively use opera mini, which bypasses the filters on most networks. Or set up a vpn if you really care.
Most people these days have flown so many times they already know about the flotation seat cushion and oxygen air masks.
Perhaps in the US, but not so much in Europe.
