    Agreed,

I think main reason to remove the websites is to avoid the costs in keeping the sites updated, thats where all the money is spent.

Abandoning websites looks very bad on the company doing the abandoning, much better to remove from the web entirely.

I think amy solved more puzzles than the doctor in the last series. If you want a female doctor then find some balls and have one instead of fannying around with a female sidekick who fixes more things then the doctor himself.

I would love to reduce the time spent on each wedding and looking to reduce overheads even more, it sounds like you have some great tips on being a photographer.

I was under the impression that one big reason for introducing Chip and Pin was to avoid the cashier handling the card. A big source of card fraud was bent cashiers photographing or copying the cards as they swiped them in the machines, using chip and pin means no-one else touches your card therefore negating another level of insecurity.

incorrect unfortunately. you have to have a licence for equipment capable of receiving television broadcasts. Even if you only use your tv for games playing or film watching your are required to obtain and maintain a licence unless of cause you remove the tuner (disabling still leaves you in sticky water)

It's not compulsory unless you watch live TV. Using your TV for games consoles or playback of pre-recorded content (DVDs etc.) doesn't require a license.

  17. Well its all about percentages on Has the Rate of Technical Progress Slowed? · · Score: 0

Surely this is about tech maturing.

If you start off with nothing, learning to throw stones is a big step forward but them learning to use a catapult isn't such a big step even though it allows you to throw stones much further, with greater accuracy and with less effort.

The same can be said about applications these days. Take photoshop for example. the upgrades to this software were colossal at the beginning but current upgrades are more tweaks and minor features. This is because the application is maturing.

Can't the the same be said for our tech?
