Why should it?
The OS doesn't belong to the US government. It belongs to Microsoft.
If they want to make the default browser IE, it's their business.
If you don't like it, use Ubuntu.
I don't like IE, but even more I don't like the government pretending that they own everything.
Any application that automatically gets installed if you click through a wizard too quickly should be treated like a virus.
iTunes and GoogleToolbar are two such applications.
Good for Microsoft.
Remove this trash.
While I'm not a huge fan of Macs, they DO have an actual user base.
But Amiga?
I'll admit, obscure systems can be kind of cool, but in all honesty, they're not relevant enough to warrant these kind of debates.
It doesn't mean that there's anything wrong with the OS. It just means that no one really cares.
Please do not harm, defraud, intimidate, or threaten the Colossus.

A lot of people have some funny ideas about rights are.
Life, Liberty, Pursuit of Happiness, and 1MB Broadband access?
Oh, Finland, you're doing it wrong.
When study results like this one are published, do you think that they're intentionally misleading the public or that they're simply THAT ignorant of cause and effect relationships.
Bad parents let their children eat lots of candy.
Bad parents raise children that commit crimes.
Bad Parenting = the cause
Candy = Effect #1
Crime = Effect #2
Candy is not a cause, it's an effect.
My attitude is generally, if rewriting is manageable, do it. You'll have a better fit for you r App. If rewriting isn't manageable, then reuse, but do so carefully. Taking on a project that's too big sucks, but when someone else's code doesn't wok correctly, have fun debugging it.
>> Do civil rights attorneys bother you?
Oh Yes.
>> Consumer rights attorneys?
Yes.
>> How about the lawyers who argued Brown v. Board of Education?
Even if the result was good, yes.
>> How about Clarence Darrow...?
Yes
>> What about John Adams?
Accomplished some great stuff, but I hold the lawyer thing against him.
>> What about Ray Beckerman?
Yes
>>Those in monogamous relationships get sex on demand
Although it will be 50-75 pounds heavier than before the wedding.

On the weekends when you head to your parents for dinner.
I'm not sure about the effeminate part.
But Socialist and Marxist?
Exactly what part of government subsidized health care, demonizing of corporations, and forcing a small percentage of the population to pay for the majority of the tax burden doesn't sound like Marxism to you?
They're no Joseph Stalin, but then again, neither was Karl Marx.
I'm knowingly going off topic here, so feel free to give me bad karma:)...But I think it's unfortunate that we seem to be incapable of using a tool like the Internet without letting it develop into a crutch. We survived for millenia without networks of any kind. We should be able to deal with the Internet going down for a short time without it being a big deal. But as we're humans, we've allowed the Internet to develop in a way that we can't live without it. Just like everything else, we've allowed it to go from tool to crutch.
I do have to agree with you on that. It's unfortunate that eating healthy and avoiding foods with crazy things done to them gets lumped with Alt. Medicine.
And the thing with alt. medicine isn't that I don't think any of it is legitimate. It's just that all the things people have against traditional medicine, the alt. medicine groups are 10 times worse about.
There's almost no REAL research involved. It's based more on religion and a distrust of corporations than on fact.
But enough of my ranting.
Yes, I agree with what you said entirely.
Sorry, but I think I'll stick with traditional medicine. I'd rather deal with imperfection than to start taking placebos that are "natural" (as opposed to supernatural?) and don't contain chemicals (which means that they must just be vacuums as water is a chemical).
Dear Internet,
I don't want features.
Most features are stupid and annoying.
I want things to work well.
I want things laid out a simple and visible format.
Thanks,

There are some pros to using FireFox. The availability of the Ad-Block add-on is what's caused me to use FF3 over IE7.
However, if it weren't for Ad-Block, I'd probably use IE.
IE7 crashes less, is compatible with more web-sites, and on my machine, seems to load pages more quickly (JS in FF3 is faster, but total time in IE7 seems to be less).
Safari is faster than either of the two. Safari's interface kind of bugs me, but that's probably because I'm not used to it. (I'm not a Mac missionary. Just happens to be what I noticed.)

You might note though that they did this voluntarily vs. communism where it's done while looking down the barrel of a gun. That's a major difference.

They are only different because you've been desensitized to one and still view the other as disgusting.

So exactly why is it that they can't hire dealers that can card count too? This would seem to be a better solution to me.

It was also discovered that 12% of IT Admins lie on surveys.
You joke, but that sounds like fun. :)

Anyone else notice how closely study results seem to mirror society's current prejudices?

I'm still holding out for a set the doesn't require the glasses. I'm not going to put on a pair of 3-d glasses just to sit down and watch TV.
