The bug's not new... in multiple editions of Windows; that means it's been around for quite a while.
Newly discovered, yes, but in the average month there are over 20 serious newly discovered bugs in Windows.
And there are millions more where that came from.
It's not a bug! It is a FEATURE!! Get with the times, man.
This was not wholly unexpected.. I did think it would take longer then it did however. At least until MW2 sales dropped off. (which they should be doing about now.)
Now, all disabilities aside and with respect to those with them, really just one thought pops into my mind.. How would one expect a blind person to play a VIDEO (as in visual) game?
I mean they can't see whats happening, can't see where to go/aim, or see other visual clues that's in most games now a days.. short of brain implants, I just don't see this as feasible with current tech.
Dell small business is indeed the place.. my sales rep offered up a list of pre-install options and all I had to do was say yes or no to them.. and the prices are inline with consumer prices and/or sales and you get a much better buying experience.
I'll stick with Dell over any of the 'other' name brands, TYVM
For what its worth, I wasn't having any access issues all morning on Gmail.. this is, not until I read about the outage and went to check (NOT EVEN 5 MINS SINCE THE LAST TIME I CHECKED MY MAIL!) and lo and behold, it was down.. not responding.. telling me "can't connect to Gmail and to check my connection"
BTW, It is fixed and back up here for me now.. outage lasted approx 45 mins out west where I am.
Indeed confirmed.. I just tested it in my IE8.. I have Google set to default and entering www.DoNotHijackMeAgain.com into the address bar brought up a Google search page.
Absolut187 (816431): THANKS FOR THE SOLUTION!
Deselecting search from address bar "fixed" it for me.
Best story I've seen on/. in a while..
As one who has quite a few domains myself, its nice to know there is even a slight chance of getting justice and the name back should some scumbag decide to hacksteal it.
I have 'news' for you;
News is NOT IP it is facts of something real or that has happened. No company or agency "owns' the news. (only their telling of said news is 'owned' by them, not the news itself.)

It seems you didn't miss any of the current buzz words in that. Good job.
10 years of work on his laptop without a single backup?
More importantly: 10 yrs of work fit on one USB flash drive?
EVERYONE, who is in a position to know, knows (No)GoDaddy sucks big time and would never use or recommend any of their services.
