Um, actually, I find numeric user IDs a lot better than email. Email as ID gives a lot of problems: spam, or when using a different email adres than your real one to prevent spam, people emailing it and expecting you to see their email.
./ is annoying in new browsers too. I can't click a link anymore without the page doing a random scroll-jump instead. Same for middleclicking, or trying to moderate something, or anything else that requires clicking any of the 3 mouse buttons on./.
Furthermore it often shows an eternal "loading" spinning thing at the bottom.
I know, I was exaggerating. I'm actually happy to hear about the many micro-brews that exist there too. Didn't know that. I just based my post on the image we get here of what comes from there, local stuff from there doesn't reach us here of course. And on the story I heard from someone from here making a cake of a type I love, for kids in America and they hated the cake because it wasn't sweet enough while kids here would love it. Anyway, thanks for your post:)
In the USA for some reason people seem to be unable to taste something if it doesn't have loads of sugar and salt added, or the combination of both.
Real chocolate has a bitter taste, not a sweet taste. I can appreciate it, but an American would not want to eat it, he would want loads of sugar added to it and the bitter cocoa removed, so that what remains is just the same as any other american food is (a bunch of sugar with color added to it).
This is somewhat off topic, but I found this part of the article interesting: "The Scottsdale, Arizona based company [...] manages more than 48 million domain names."
Given that there are 7 billion people in the world (of which a lot use the internet), and afaik many of them register domains, not to mention all the squatters and companies, I find this a surprisingly small amount of domains.
I guess living in Europe also counts as living under a rock then. I had never heard of this movie.
The Disney Cortex? Is that made by evolution specifically to watch Disney movies in 3D?
Strange. Games cost 100 times more to make than 20 years ago, yet they are not 100 times as fun to play .....
Um, didn't you check the first post?
Yeah, sure, but was it *on the Internet*?

I love numeric IDs!
If they send people to Mars, they better still be able to play in multiplayer with their friends on Earth! Not to mention Youtube.
Are you sure it's only 24MB? There's a LOT of different DNA sequences in there!
Argh, I just realized I typed ./ instead of /.
But hey, maybe it should not be called /. anymore with its current JS implementation :p
FF4.

I've heard and read many times, since years and years ago already, that dinosaurs went instinct due to an asteroid impact.
And now a news article is saying dinosaurs went instinct due to an asteroid impact?
Can I play all games on newgrounds.com in Gnash?
If not, there is some work to do on it ...
I think microtransactions are incompatible with good and fun game rules.
By boat?

The solution against the lasers: missiles with mirrors on them!
Clippy in your real life, now that must be fun!
I see you're trying to clean your teeth. Would you like some help with that?
*insert less innocent variants here*

According to http://www.domaintools.com/internet-statistics/, there are now 95 million .com domains, 14 million .net and 9 million .org.
Given that there are 7 billion people in the world (of which a lot use the internet), and afaik many of them register domains, not to mention all the squatters and companies, I find this a surprisingly small amount of domains.
What do you think of this?
Well, to make it technical, this could be interesting for speaker technology. Imagine cellphones producing loud quality music with a deep bass!
No your a towel.
You're not the only one.
What, no, a GOOD one, not one that takes only 6 months to develop :/
I think a good new Zelda game could do the trick :)
