Also, I don't expect to have 4g wherever I go but now there's at least some chance I'll have a free connection. Its not like my phone doesn't tell me what type of data connection I have.

Why are you referring to just the east coast? Many of the Gulf Coast states would have flooding or be under water including Florida, Texas and Louisiana. What about west coast cities? Sorry, you can't compare a tiny island from 112 years ago to abrupt rises in sea-level and the impact that would have on every coastal city today. Also, I'm assuming a larger rise than a foot.

If more evidence turns up to support man-made global climate change, and the ocean levels rise, then climate deniers in congress and the senate should have to pay to relocate everyone living in coastal cities. Fair is fair but, it won't work out that way. -- Without coastal cities, import/export trade and many industries the nation relies on will be crippled. It could very possibly crush the economy and destroy civilization as we know it.

In grad school. I did a research paper comparing security between Android and IOS. I cited white papers for my information. There have been plenty of vulnerabilities in IOS and those are only the ones we've heard about. Apple's approach allows them to be secretive about security holes and fix them quietly...should they choose to do so. One of the big reason you hear so much about Android flaws is because the public community finds the flaws and naturally, makes the news public. While to the uninformed this appears to hurt Android's reputation, it actually allows for quick, practical solutions to security holes from the vast collective of the Android programming community (of which I'm a member). Whereas with IOS, you have a small collection of paid programmers searching for issues and fixing them, depending on severity of the issue, public awareness of the issue, and available resources at Apple to do the job.

Initial reports were that he wore body armor protecting the head, throat and groin. I'm not aware if those reports later turned out to be false. YOUR big fail is where, like so many other replies, you failed to address the smoke grenades / tear gas that he used. Good luck getting a good shot in a darkened, gas-filled theater.

I'd be awesomely impressed if you could take down the gunman in a darkened, gas-filled room with a good shot, without injuring or killing any of the panicked innocents. BTW, no number of delusional John Wayne wannabes could have stopped that gunman. He was wearing full body armor and riot gear, including armored protection for his head, throat and groin. He also indiscriminately sprayed fire from high powered automatic weapons after throwing smoke grenades into the theaters. The casualty rate would have been much higher if his gun didn't jam.
